Netflix WidevineCDM missing

I'm running latest stable (2.4.1488.40) and have run into an issue watching DRM protected content on netflix. I can't find any reports on this since apparently since 2.2 widevinecdm was supposed to be fetched postinstall. However my vivaldi://components does not have it. Any ideas on a fix? I don't want to reinstall chrome.

@kenryov Are you sure this a DRM problem?

My stable (and snapshot) also does not show DRM as a component, however when I check
https://demo.castlabs.com/

The two DRM videos (Big Buck Bunny) both play (using Widevine via CENC) so the component does not seem to be needed!?

Edit: Look under Tools/Settings/Webpages and check if "Enable Widevine Plugin" is checked.

Fwiw, i stream NF every night, in V-SS, & it simply works for me... i do not need to try any faking etc.

I wonder if OP is using a less-common Linux distro, which has somehow interfered with the way V-SS silently goes about organising its WideVine?
