Change recovery email
-
Hi I recently lost my recovery email completely, as in I can't log in to it or anything like that. Because of that I don't have a recovery mail I can't use and since I can't change it I'm kind of stressing over it.
I was wondering what I should do, is there any admins or anything like that I can talk too, to change my now recovery email before it's to late?

@Gwen-Dragon Thank you!

For me it may already be "too late".
I wanted to change my recovery email, because that email address has been cancelled. BUT I CAN'T! When I hover over the field with the old, invalid address, I see a sign that says 'forbidden access'.
How can I change such basic settings of my account?

Allowing users to change their account's recovery email is in progress. For now we need to update the recovery email for you.
Please go to vivaldi.com/contact. Scroll down to "Send us a message" and pick "Vivaldi.net account and services". For Service pick "Account".
In the message, tell us your
- account's username,
- the current recovery email, and
- the new recovery email you wish to have.

@jane-n Please update my recovery email for me. I send you email about this. I wrote username, current recovery email and new recovery email I wish.

@sulegulmen Thanks for your email. We're currently going through quite a big backlog of support emails that were cumulated due to the long holidays we had in Norway. We thank you in advance for your patience.

It is OK now. Thank you
