attempted to downgrade extension (IDM)
-
I'm trying to add/install IDM extension from IDM installed directory (the IDMGCExt.crx file), but it cant and "Attempted to downgrade extension" message pop-up at the top.
Any help or suggestion for this?
(Trying to find fix on google doesnt help, the one with change to .zip - extract - load unpacked and adding the vivaldi from IDM setting)
I'm using latest update stable vivaldi.
Thank you. -

vivaldi://extensions
Hmm...
I didnt see anything related to IDM, checking in the vivaldi://extensions only saw 4 extension that i use (browsec vpn, dark reader, ublock, viramate) -
You and me have the same exact problem today. I'll just following your progress, I haven't found any since few hours ago.

@raed Why would anyone put up with such a shitty extension? I don't get it.

@raed Still no reason to sign a contract with the devil, so to speak… Most of the download managers / youtube download extensions are pure malware. I would advise against anything that's not coming directly from chrome webstore and even then I would be careful.

Strange, I have no problems with IDM 6.32.6.1 and IDM Ext 6.32.7 in Vivaldi Standalone 2.3.1440.57 x64
I will admit EXE's weren't being engaged at all by IDM Ext but everything is ok.
