Show timer inside address bar to show waiting for response.
-
Old opera used to show more details inside the address bar such as how long the execution of a page is taking. It would be nice to see for how long the page is waiting to get the response from the server.
-
You can use the devtools for that, no?
Menu -> Tools -> DevTools and then check the Network tab:
ModEdit: Shot replaced
-
Its not the same as I want it for all the websites, it shows how long a web page took to response back.
-
This is what I miss in the old days, it used to show for how long the browser is waiting to get the response.
ModEdit: As you can see, your shot was replaced.

Come on,
Ctrl+Shit+I
@saudiqbal The progress bar at the bottom. That one I remember, could you please snatch a screenshot of our progress bar?
Vivaldi UI is not completed.

I am talking about the timer that runs when the page is responding from server. It used to show up on older browsers. Look at the screenshot above Time: 0.01 its a timer to show for how long the browser is waiting for a response. Sometimes pages get stuck and it helps.

New screenshot from old Opera 12, see the timer: Time 1:46, it was a helpful feature.

Yes, I really liked this feature. I also liked having the speed displayed as well.

Just to make things sure to everyone: I miss the old progress bar in Vivaldi as well.
I am trying to say the feature is not completed YET.

Please add this alongside loading info in status bar!
-
A v2.6 snapshot just added more loading information to the status bar, but especially for those who don't use the status bar (as I don't), I would very much appreciate the Old Opera pop-up loading information at the bottom of the window.
-
@rseiler What about the Status Bar Overlay?
-
@Pesala OK, I forgot about that. I use it in my normal Vivaldi install, but didn't have it enabled in the Dev (test) install somehow. (My theory as to how that happened is that if you toggle the status bar on, which I probably did at some point, you lose the Overlay setting when you switch the status bar back off.)
Yes, that makes what's been added to 2.6 easily visible. Maybe at some point they'll backfill that feature with some of the extra information that Opera used to have.

I sóóó miss this feature.

That's make two of us.
One of the few part of the UI is missing for me (second is my only feature request.
We got an incomplete progress:
the Informative Status Bar is not inside of Page Loading Progress. -
Vivaldi: dont forget this feature request
