@mle I cannot reproduce in the Stable version either. All shortcut keys work as expected.

Alright, thanks.
I've just tried with a new vivaldi profile (removed "c:\Users\xxxxx\AppData\Local\Vivaldi\User Data"), and behavior is the same.
Also, the arrow / cursor keys don't work, neither for navigating the pdf, nor with shift+cursor for text selection. But I'm not sure if this should be working but is not, or if that is not implemented anyways.

@Gwen-Dragon
A new profile does not fix it as it is a issue in Vivaldi's internal PDF viewer itself.
I'm aware, I just wanted to rule out any extension or setting interfering with it.
Thanks for the info, in that case I'll wait for a newer version. -
I also have this problem with PDF viewer in Vivaldi 2.2.1388.37 (Stable channel) (32-bit) on Window 10 Pro 64-bit (although it's been a problem for while not just this specific version). Occasionally the arrow keys and page up/page down will work but the majority of time they don't work. Is there a way to vote for issues or do we just have to hope the developers in their benevolence decide to prioritize this issue at some point?

Hi, I think I have the same problem. The behaviour is quite weird. Sometimes (mostly) no keys are working when I open a PDF file.
There is an easy fix - select another tab and then go back.
When I try to change page number it doesn't work - I can select number in the input box but not write in it. Even if I performed the anoter-tab-fix, selecting page number input box break keys again.
It can be fixed by de-focus and focus the tab again one more time. Then selecting page number and all keys work fine.
Vivaldi 2.2.1388.37 64bit, Ubuntu 18.04

@petr-wudi Yes, the bug only seems to occur after selecting text, and can be worked around by switching tabs. I don't notice any problem on first opening a PDF.

I confirm both the bug and the workaround on Ubuntu 16.04, Vivaldi 2.2.1388.37 (Stable channel) (64-bit). I believe the bug only appeared due to a Vivaldi update, but I cannot say which update caused the problem.

Hi,
Not sure if this is the right place but I have been experiencing issues with opening password protected pdfs in the browser. It does open a modal to enter the password but I cannot click and enter anywhere in it. If this is not the right place, can you point me towards it please?

@reddy-shyam Moved to the right place.
It's a known bug that has been around for a while, so not a regression that needs to be fixed before release of 2.3.

Thanks Pesala. Appreciate that!
