How to move mouse gestures settings?
-
I want to export my mouse gestures settings from one Vivaldi installation to another - how can I do it? I know there is no UI for that (yet) but if I can do it with copying/editing config files that would be fine too. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any files or config sections relating to mouse gestures in User Data folder. Does anyone know where those settings are stored and what I should move?

I've not tested this for MGs specifically, so the following might be just a steaming pile of hooey, but you might try:
- Preferences and Local App Settings\mpognobbkildjkofajifpdfhcoklimli: This contains Vivaldi settings and configurations.
- Local Storage
There might be "unintended consequences", btw.

Web-Panels & Themes [etc] are stored in Local App Settings\mpognobbkildjkofajifpdfhcoklimliAronand VIVALDI TEAM
Hi, Steffie
Preferences and Local App Settings\mpognobbkildjkofajifpdfhcoklimli: This contains Vivaldi settings and configurations.
This is also where custom Web Panels are stored afaik. -
Thanks for your reply. Indeed, mouse gestures settings are stored there but unfortunately there's also a bunch of other settings and some of my browsing history that appear all to be stuffed inside a binary 000003.log file that does not look like a editable file. So when I copied all of that to another Vivaldi profile then mouse gestures were copied but also a lot of other settings that I did not intend to copy. However, there were some settings that were not copied - they must be residing elsewhere.
In other words, the organization of the settings in the files is very messy = not intended to be tinkered with by a user with an editor. Without a dedicated option to export/import settings I can't see how to move only mouse gestures.
If still anyone knows of a way it would be great.
