Right Click Menu Hijacked on Websites
-
Hi,
how can I force to get Vivaldi's right click menu instead of the hijacked version that the website offers? Other browsers have a key for this like shift+right click.
I don't want an addon for this.
Thanks!
KR,
G.

@grimeton Example "problem" sites pls?

You can use the Quick Javascript Switcher extension. In the websites that don't work, deactivate the webpage's Javascript with switcher on extensions bar that this prevents using the right click. The drawback is that everything that uses Javascript will stop working, such as carousel images, show search results as you typing, etc.

@gwen-dragon Ctrl+Shift+RMB doesn't work for me here: https://www.google.com/maps/place/Bremen/@53.1199492,8.596205,11z/ but they were always quite good at hijacking, luckily they don't grab the "menu" button of the keyboard.

@grimeton Still don't understand the alleged problem.
Vivaldi-Snapshot:
Firefox Quantum Developer:
However i'm not a user of that website, so i intuit there's some subtlety that as a non-user i'm unwittingly overlooking. Anyway, it does not matter -- others here share your view that there is a problem, so its invisibility to me is irrelevant. Whatever it is, i hope it gets resolved for you.

Hi,
it's in chat. Doesn't matter if a group or a person when you do a right click in the chat window I'm not able to get the browser's right click menu.
