@Hadden89 Are there any alternative codec packs than M$ Media Feature Pack?
I don't need more bloatware on my PC... -
@ROTFL
MS codec pack is only useful for Windows K and KN editions which aren't very popular - as they actually lack some "media" features for antitrust reasons in some countries. The pack actually only ship "the windows essential" for these versions so it can't considered "bloatware" while the alternatives are bigger packs as the KLMCP or the Shark007 but I can't be sure alternative codec packs will unlock playback on Win K or KN as I always had regular Windows+KLMCP. -
@Hadden89 Yup, I got Win10 N on old laptop and today I wanted to test Netflix on it...
Seems it wasn't the best idea...By "bloatware" I meant Skype and all of this "extra" trash.

@ROTFL Well, you may try the shark (which is small in size) or the kazaa lite mega codec pack (which is a big collection of codecs) to see if you can use netfilx without MS codec pack.
But probably the best solution will be to use the MS feature pack which actually convert "Win10 N" to "Win10". Or the one linked here, which seems to add only the WinMedia Codecs (and H264/DRM, I hope).About the unwanted apps - some tools or powershell commands allow their removal...but they may come again at any major update =_=
