Any word on M3? (internal mail client)
-
@Gwen-Dragon sadly a bunch of websites I'm using have discontinued RSS\Atom feeds altogether. And now I'm stuck with webpanels, twitter and email subscriptions.

@Gwen-Dragon
OT:
I have been streaming "a certain thing" continuously for the past 11 hours. I am a sad woman. Someone needs to to rewrite the terrible movie script entirely... & recast all the actors... bigly.For inexplicable reasons, i am thinking of this:

@kryksyh I don't think that RSS is on its deathbed, quite the contrary:
The Feedbro extension is a powerful RSS and Atom tool, I have feeds from 450 sources in Feedbro, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram.
Feedbro - Advanced Feed Reader - Read news & blogs or any RSS/Atom/RDF source:

Another year, another post.
It looks like I started building my anticipation for the M3 Mail client rather prematurely! All the way back in 2017. I made a post last year lamenting the non arrival of M3 and @jon replied that it was still in progress and that a release date was nearing.
Quote @jon:
@mkstevo , clearly this has taken us a long time and for that we are sorry. That being said, release gets closer each day.Best,
Jon.14 months on and still I wait patiently.
As Safari has royally messed up (in my opinion at least) by suddenly removing the (speed dial like) Top Sites option, I'm moving to Vivaldi full time. The M3 client and the option to open links in background tabs with a single click would make things more enjoyable for me.
I see that the background tabs feature is being considered, but if it takes over four years or more... Well, here's hoping that both arrive sooner rather than later.

Honestly you're such a magnificent trooper, a real hero. Fancy any mere mortal being so nobly patient; unprecedented! IMO there should be public monuments, & holidays, named after you.
-
TBH, what I'm waiting for is to see whether an internal mail client makes it into Mobile Vivaldi too, and whether it'll be good enough to replace K-9 Mail
-
@Crimsonshade Any word on K-10?
-
@Gwen-Dragon Also, there was a problem with the feeds of this forum..
Any news about it? -
So, this should be the week. What about Tuesday? It should be a good day for a snapshot.
Also shower thoughts:
Apple Inc.
may use theM3
brand for its procesors before it's released on vivaldi. I only fear that processor generations become old over time, but that thought may be spared for some other time. -

Sorry, can you tell me exactly what m3 is? Thanks.
-
@Gwen-Dragon ,
M3 is the internal name mail client in Vivaldi.
Can you explain a little more?
Isn't it better to give a special article explaining this feature in Vivaldi Blog? -
@nazariansani We Will probably get such an article When M3 gets Its first public preview
-
@LonM ,This topic has been created for almost 2 years,
so far it has not been said when it will be published? -
@nazariansani There have been topics about M3 since 2015 the latest, but yes, there was a quite specific hint given more recently.
I believe we will get a Technical Preview out this month.
