Auto-scroll on Mac?

Does Vivaldi have Autoscroll on Mac? (Where you middle-click somewhere in the page, then move the mouse cursor up or down a little bit to scroll continuously at a set speed.)
Here's what it looks like in Firefox
(except screenshot doesn't show the mouse cursor,
just the auto-scroll symbol after middle-clicking):I just downloaded Vivaldi, went to a page, tried to autoscroll with middle click. Nothing.

Do I have to turn auto-scroll 'on'?
-
Do I have to get an add-on?
-
Is there some config setting to enable it?
I know people argue about not needing auto-scroll, but once you get used to it, I don't know how you would not want it. With autoscroll, you can lean back in your chair and read some 10,000-word Wikipedia article without touching the keyboard or mouse.
I appreciate your reply.
.
Auto-scroll, Autoscroll, smoothscroll, enable, middle-click

@nev82 I'm not aware of any way to get this working in Vivaldi on a Mac. macOS itself supports 2 mouse buttons (if you enable Secondary click) and does not have any inherent support for a middle mouse button... or auto-scroll for that matter... so it's rare for those features to be supported in a Mac application.
With Vivaldi, the easiest way to page through a long article is to hit the space bar.

Hi! Are you on Windows or a Mac?
I'm on a Mac, and I'm desperately trying to enable middle click scrolling (or 'Autoscroll' as Firefox calls it) under Vivaldi, but I haven't succeded so far.
Can you elaborate on how you managed to get it turned on?//MODEDIT: posts (along with replies) moved from unrelated feature request thread

@xyzzy
A little update on this one: it works great on Firefox for Mac. Is it possible that they add this feature? We all desperately want to have it! -

On Windows, click and release the middle mouse button, or just click and drag.

I think Chrome/Chromium etc on Linux doesn't have autoscrolling in the first place
Correct, & i've hated not having middleclick AS in Nix V/chromium ever since i changed to Nix from win7 in 2014. Happily, within the past six months, i discovered a Python script solution which provides a useful middleclick AS systemically [ie, not only in chromium browsers]. So now Nixers have both middleclick AS + paste + link functionality. Poor windozers...

This is for Nix; i've no idea if it might also work in your OS, but it should be simple for you to experiment.
