How is "expand top domain" supposed to work?
-
Sorry but I just really don't get this feature...
My setup:
-
Case 1
- https://www.google.no/search?q=test
Ctrl
+Enter
- => https://www.google.pl
-
Case 2
- https://www.google.pl/search?q=test
Ctrl
+Enter
- => https://www.google.com
-
Case 3
- https://www.google.com/search?q=test
Ctrl
+Enter
- => https://www.google.pl
- Is this an intended behaviour? If yes - WHY?...
- Why does Vivaldi expand www.google.no into www.google.pl in case 1?
- Shouldn't it expand address to https://www.google.pl in case 2?
-
-
@rotfl I think google isn't the best site to test this on. The shortcut works as expected on most sites.
-
@luetage Please how can I use more domains? I tried some shortcuts but I still don't know… (In Firefox it is simple but not customizable )
-
@luetage I get the same results on different pages
-
Case 4
- https://www.yr.no
Ctrl
+Enter
- => https://www.yr.pl
-
Case 5
- http://www.gazeta.pl
Ctrl
+Enter
- => http://www.gazeta.com
-
Case 6
- https://www.reddit.com
Ctrl
+Enter
- => https://www.reddit.pl
These results have no sense for me...
Is it me having problem with understanding this feature or is it buggy?... -

@gwen-dragon Uhm...
Thanks for answer!Sorry but this feature wasn't so obvious for me (I had never used this thing in Opera).
Maybe the explanation line below it (in settings) should contain an example of use?...
