How to make bookmark bar appear on new tab page
-
Chrome has this as a default option. That is, when opening a new tab the bookmark bar appear which is convenient if we want to select a link from there. Except new tabs the bookmark bar wont appear (if do not show bookmark bar option is enabled).
Is this option already in Vivaldi which I missed?
Thanks

@nellaiseemai No, it does not exist yet.
See the Modding Forum for possible solutions.
One can assign a single-key shortcut to show/hide the Bookmarks Bar and keep it off by default. You will have to enable "Focus page content on new tab" in Settings, Tabs, to use the single-key shortcut on the start page.
You could always use the Bookmarks Menu instead (shortcut = Alt
which will work on any page regardless of the page focus setting on new tabs.

@nellaiseemai If you have the bookmarks bar enabled (settings/bookmarks/bookmark bar/show bookmark bar), it displays on all tabs, new or old. You can't set it to appear only on new tabs.
