Remove Tab Spacing in Maximized Windows
-
I would love to have the Tab Display Option "Remove Tab Spacing in Maximized Windows" or something similar on MacOS!

The space above tabs is for tab group indicators – if you have a tab group you will notice that the actual free space above tabs is maybe 2px.

@chrisvio If you don't use Tab Stacks, you can uncheck the "Enable Tab Stacking" option setting; the "empty space" above the tabs will disappear. It's also currently difficult to use Tab Stacks in fullscreen mode (with tabs on top) because it's too easy to trigger the menu bar dropdown when using the tab stack switcher.

@xyzzy No joy.

@chrisvio So sorry... as you can see from my response, I thought that I had read fullscreen, not maximized. My trick to get rid of the extra space only works for fullscreen mode and for when you have "Use Native Window" enabled. My apologies again.

@xyzzy No worries. A simple misunderstanding. I appreciate you trying to help. Thank you.
