Where can I customise this?
Hello there
Quick Commands setup can be found at:
Alt+P >> Quick Commands

Pleeeeease, add 'Typed' group from address bat to 'Quick Commands'. I really need this.
-
@aryadovoy Add a new Feature Request for this.

is it possible, to open a bookmarkfolder (with a nickname) in a new window just with quick commands? and if not, why? (if I searched with the right terms, there's no feature request?)

Does anyone know any good tutorials or workflows that demonstrate this functionality? I've had vivaldi for a year now and after looking at the quick commands window a few times I honestly can say I always found it extremely useless. I can't figure out what you'd need it for. And I'm not unfamiliar with this type of functionality. I use Listary hundreds of times a day. But it just seems like everything the quick command window can do can be assigned to a hotkey, or is easily accessible some other way. Anyway, that's the impression I've gotten. I just struggled to find it useful. But after so much time with Listary, I'd like to try and understand why people use this. Because the above tutorial did not give me any one good reason to use it. All those functions can be accomplished just as easily via other means. And there's one thing: the "quick" commands window is slow. It should be called the slow commands window, honestly.

I don't use Quick Commands as part of my normal workflow but I do use them all the time.... whether it's the calculator, to search bookmarks, to search the web, or just to find an obscure function that I need faster than I can find it in the menus. Other QC users use it for accessibility, particularly those with dexterity issues who have difficulty using a mouse.
Once you find one use for QC that makes things easier or faster for you, you will likely find others. If have no use for QC, that's fine too.

@element4l
open a group of tabs via nickname was some time ago only funktionale via quickcommand.
now I use QC most for the calculator -
@element4l I also don't use Quick Commands, but some might find it useful if working in fullscreen mode. Shortcuts are best, but only if you can remember them.

There's a way to skip individual sections (Tabs, Commands, Bookmarks, etc.) of the Quick Commands search results and jump to the first item of the previous or the next section. Simply use
Alt + Up
for jumping to the previous section andAlt + Down
for the next section. It should work on all platforms.Even though I consider such a feature extremely important, I wasn't able to find any mention of it anywhere. This blog post, Vivaldi's help, nowhere. I was able to discover it just by chance (or brute-force ), I was hoping it's possible to jump over the QC's sections so I was trying various keyboard shortcuts.
As the number of items in your browsing history, opened and closed tabs, bookmarks, notes and other items searched by Quick Commands grows, this feature becomes even more important, at least to me. Users would appreciate if it's better documented, I guess.

@ferenczy BTW the same keyboard shortcuts
Alt
+Up
/Alt
+Down
also work for jumping to the previous/next section (e.g. Search, Typed History, Bookmarks, Browser History, etc.) in the address bar search results. That's just awesome! -
