@pesala Yeah, I saw but its a little hassle because you have to again and again click on the keyboard button to see all the shortcuts in 1 place because after deleting the search term, it shows the all settings panel from start. It could at least retain the scroll depth in future for all settings or show the same panel that was selected before searching something.
But anyways, a not so urgent feature and some way of search is better than none.

Please do it 🙏
The title says "In Progress", which means that the Vivaldi developers will realize the theme "Sync More Features", but a release date has not been set yet.

That is not always an easy thing to do on a tablet or a touchscreen PC without a keyboard attached, for instance...
A workaround for this can now be implemented using command chains. The only issue with this workaround is that a separate keyboard shortcut needs to be created for each non-default search engine one wishes to search with.
@mouravieffantiableism I am truly deeply sorry for what has happened to you. I cannot even begin to imagine what you have to go through to perform tasks we take for granted.
I was reading the thread and I could not understand why were you refusing to use the keyboard. Now I do see your very valid reasons to ask for that.
I was going to suggest you, if they are useful of course, the screen gestures (can be done with the mouse or if you have a tablet [i think too])
At some point long time ago, there were indeed one key functions, using the keyboard (I dont know if you have a full one or a short one) and those functions could be used even on touch screen devices within the browser only.
I was going to ask if those could return to the browser.. mere coincidence!!
@kraligor , yes, it would be nice. As workarround I use 2 extensions, Noobox(using several engine at the same time and screenshot search) and Search by Image (Selective search from a list with over 30 engines), with these I have practically all image search engines covered.
(Yes, the best image search is certainly by Yandex)
@thescorb0 You can add any search engine that you want, and select any search engine as your default. If Vivaldi adds/removes search engines it depends on their Business Model.
If CB Search is complete crap, why on earth should they add it? Here, the default for a new install is Bing or DuckDuckGo for Private Windows.
