@trm217 said in Sync all Browser Settings:
Settings such as search engines, themes, etc. don't get synced. I think most people (I suppose there are edge cases where people don't want this, however most probably would) would want this to be the case.
Absolutely! I was surprised that after switching to another OS and enabling sync, I had to go over a very time-consuming tedious process of setting my theme and preferences the exact same all over again. If Vivaldi is an extremely customizeable browser it appeals to people who want that kind of customization and then at least having full and complete sync between each device (desktop) makes sense as a default and whether to sync or not can be made an option in the settings too.
It would really be hassle free if we get this. Thanks for all the awesome work folks!
my best guess this is a tracking browser. It records everything and hides privacy options.
the fact that it exists the way you see it not allowing control proves it's intentional.
This browser just fills up constantly we're lucky to manually delete them though very disappointing
Nvidia Geforce Now works excellent now on Vivaldi, except when aiming down sights 😉 site setting would be nice. I assigned a global shortcut for now so I can disable/enable mouse gestures on the fly. Also had to disable Rocker gestures although honestly I never use them.
Adding another 2 cents here - this is no longer possible to do with CSS in Vivaldi 4, and so making it an official option is much more important.
I really hope it's something that can get fixed sooner rather than later.
I'm sadly posting this using brave 😞 - whose sync is also inferior to chrome, but at least it's not chrome.
I'd love to be able to switch between "people" using a shortcut, as I did in chrome, and have the browser automatically switch to (or open new-) that window, like chrome does.
