I'm just thrilled that the developer's of this browser finally were able to add this feature, I know I submitted a request for this feature quite awhile ago, but as I've mentioned I know that the individuals behind this browser doesn't have a huge amount of employee's so sometimes requested features take time to get evaluated & if they get approved it takes additional time to get implemented. 😁
@Ayespy I guess you've misread my comment, the issue I was pointing is the possibility to export passwords without security recheck, not just in clear text per se. And I thought it was worse now, because the original post from 2019 mentioned just the issue of viewing passwords without recheck.
When I use Vivaldi on Android for instance, I need to recheck my login for both viewing or exporting passwords, meaning Vivaldi for Linux is less secure than for other platforms right now, and apparently has been this way at least since the original post from 2019.1652412318185.jpg
Hello, I like Vivaldi, however, in my case, Firefox multi-account container is a thing. This Export/Import for User Setting is the most close Vivaldi can be to container in Firefox. So, perhaps to get it done is a long way to go, but please:
1 - start doing it right away, and 2 - Some of the member here came to the forum with some suggestion for what to do in the mean-time, please, don't do that, instead do a in-deep-detail step-by-step guide.
Finally, to me this Export/Import for User Setting is looking vital to bring more user to Vivaldi.
@firsh This may be a bug. Save Link As... is on the default Link menu, but is not listed in the Commands in Settings, Appearance, Menu Customisation, Link menu, Context or Application commands.
Please see How to Report a Bug.
Please prioritise this - I now use Vivaldi on at least 4 different devices (and more in the future), but only one of them is set up how I want because it takes hours to get right.

Another way this could be useful:
Open Link in New Tab (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B086KKT3RX)
Type Text "<Tab 20 Times>45<Tab><Enter>"
This would let me open the Amazon Gift Card website and automatically enter my custom gift card amount of $45. I end up doing something like this several times a month, and it seems Command Chains are really close to enabling this powerful functionality!
