Fantastic Forum Software
-
Over the years I have been to countless forums, some were drab, some corny, some regular, but the V forum eats the cake ! This is one of the best forum software I have encountered; I haven't dug too deep but do you use an OSS or is this in-house ? If in-house, needless to say, you guys can make a ton if you make this generic so others can use it. State-of-the-art forum, I must say ! Keep up the good work !!
Just wish other forums would take a hint about how important user interaction is rather than keeping it boring (like SE/SO/Quora/Google etc/Atlassian (ughh)) and static

@rojaviv The Forum Search takes a bit of getting used to, but if you know how to tweak it, you can get useful results.
Bookmark this link and change the search string to whatever you are looking for.
In my personal experience, it's the users who make or break a forum, rather than the software used. The Vivaldi Community is very helpful and enthusiastic about the browser.

Thanks @Pesala.
I’ve just added it as a custom search, which I find more usable:
https://forum.vivaldi.net/search?in=titles&categories%5B%5D=113&timeRange=7776000&timeFilter=newer&sortBy=relevance&sortDirection=desc&showAs=posts&term=%S

@dantesoft Thanks. That works much better. If the word you want is not on the page to be selected, just type <nickname><search string> in the URL field, e.g. "fq downloads" (or whatever).
