Allow Editing of Passwords and Details in Privacy Settings
-
You can't edit usernames there, so far as I can tell. Only passwords.
Can't see passwords except one by one.
Can't do bulk operations.
-
Hi, is there any progress on this? I know that the username and password can be edited, but I would like to edit the URL, usually since when I save a password after resetting it, the URL is set to the link for the password reset, which is different from the actual login page.

@ChuckBaggett It works just like in Chrome, so you can edit usernames and passwords. But as you said, bulk operations aren't supported identically to chrome passwords manager.

You can open Vivaldi internal page
chrome://password-manager/passwords
and edit there. -

Installed Vivaldi today, and this is the main reason I will not be using it. It's one of the most important features to me, and I hate it that I have to stay on Chrome. So many of us wants to use EU products - but also, to easily edit passwords, so hopefully this is after 4 years at top of the list.

@HouseElfina What is difficult about adding a bookmark to
chrome://password-manager/passwords

You have totally misunderstood, in Vivaldi you have to copy/paste that url in the address field to access the password manager; the fact it starts with the word "chrome" it's because it's an internal address for the chromium engine settings, not that you have to use the browser Chrome

@Pesala Yes!

@iAN-CooG Got it! Regular users who don't dig through internet to find this solution or are not very tech savy should not use vivaldi. Hope the issue reported 5 years ago would soon be fixed, or at least added as solution in the settings.
