Save Webpage as PDF

@stardepp Thank you for the suggestion, but the problem with PrintFriendly extension is that does not keep the exact format of the website, Just-One-Page-PDF extension does exactly the same as Opera save to pdf ... keeps the format and looks great ... hope you understand what I'm trying to say lol

@sverx said in Save Webpage as PDF:
Capture > Full Page > Save as PDF.
(It's a feature request of course, I'm not saying it's there...)Change to Reader View and Ctrl+P
Select PDF driver then Save. Not so easy if your not on Desktop

As a workaround, you can install the add-on Open in Opera Browser. With one click, you can open the desired page in Opera and save it there as a PDF.

This extension works great and has some nice options.

@duarte-framos I don't care for the printed PDF option. It doesn't format the PDF well. It formats it like a print, with URL, and page numbers, and a margin around the background color. The browser has a Reader mode that strips elements. I want PDF to do the same: strip elements and produce a document, single-page or multi-page.

Maybe consider creating Command Chains | Vivaldi Browser Help to:
- Duplicate current tab
- Toggle Reader View
When done manually close the duplicated tab.

I was thinking how to decrease RAM usage in Vivaldi, and the idea is to frozen HTMLs as pdf or jpg.
Some webpages that I view doesn't require javascrip, because I only view content, I am not editing webpage. Just like Opera mini doesn't use normal javascript.
Opera mini allow me to save webpage as tiny html, and this don't require a lot of RAM, becouse on Android only one page is rendered at once. In Opera mini Android, I could sometimes have 20 websites already rendered and they don't require a lot of RAM becouse those webpages are frozen.
When I view webpages on Desktop Vivaldi, I don't need to have all webpages in RAM, ready to access. Some webpages could be frozen as jpg or some could be frozen as html without javascrip, that are not consuming much RAM.
The ideas is: if Opera mini can store rendered websites as tiny html without javascript, Vivaldi Deaktop can do the same as pdf, jpg, html without using RAM for html render. It will use RAM for jpg render, that will only render one jpg that is displayed.
There could be many optimilizations for RAM savings like in Android web browser. BTW. Hibernation or dehibernation on Vivaldi Desktop, should be one click option.
If there be LOW RAM version of Vivaldi Desktop, freezing option should be default.
What is more, I could chose If I want to store webpage in offline folder for future view, as jpg, pdf or html.
