bookmarks and markers bar disappeared

I have disappeared the markers, the bookmarks bar, without knowing why. Maybe a windows 10 update? The browser is normal, this is the history, but neither the bookmarks bar nor the shortcut ... what did I do? Magic? I had to configure everything again. Did it just happen to me?

@gwen-dragon something like that I imagine. Can they be made to come back? already program them again ..

@porabair But what if your computer crashes and the precious files you created with notepad get lost? Then you can't use your bookmarks or notes! Better write everything down with pen on paper. Hmmm, thinking about it a bit more, pen and paper isn't safe enough. You could always lose the paper and what then? I would seriously consider going for a tattoo instead. Imagine this: All your bookmarks and notes right there, on your forearm -- forever! What could go wrong?

@porabair Thank you for the enlightenment, I've been a sheep, but you opened my eyes to the truth. It was Facebook all along, of course!

Same for me... this was nearly enough to cause me to give up on Vivaldi...
I checked "Bookmarks Bar" check box under Bookmarks (top of panel view icons) and that restored (or made visible) all my missing bookmarks.
In fact, it gave me all my imported bookmarks (toolbar icons) that I imported from Chrome.
I also discovered I can drag and drop the individual bookmarks from my chrome browser onto the Vivaldi toolbar (area). One at a time.
