Feature requests for Vivaldi 1.14

Stacked tab Bookmark
Opening all links from a bookmark folder to make a stacked tab -
Tab Lock
Add a new entry to the tab menu and a keyboard shortcut that lock the tab. That means: no ability to close a tab unless you unlock it, a pop-up after trying to close the window (or no ability to close the window if you choose so) unless you unlock the tab and no ability to change a webpage. -
Pinned Tabs Autosaving
Make pinned tabs stay after closing the window unless they're unpinned. -
Extensions menu on right click menu
To hide occasional used extensions keeping the menu smaller.

14" screen and in FullScreen. -
Master password
Please add master password for Vivaldi. The question about the password would appear when vivaldi started, so that the outsider can prevent access to open cards at the start. Optionally, next to the "ok" button, a button that opens the private session would appear, or with a wrongly entered password the private session would open.Second suggestion is to display the approximate time of downloading files near the download manager icon in the sidebar.

Pinned tab changeable only within the same domain. For example, being able to go to various pages in facebook but not being able to go to another domain.

Concatenate Commands
As in Opera 12.18 allow users to assign more than one command to a shortcut. This works in two ways:
- Do commands in sequence: Set alignment, "personalbar inline", 6 & Delay, 5000 & Set alignment, "personalbar inline", 0
- Do First Command Possible: Enable scroll bars | Disable scroll bars
-
Ability to update an already saved session
When trying to save a session, there is currently no way to update an existing one.
The previously saved sessions are not listed in the dialog and even if you type the exact name
of an existing one, Vivaldi creates a new one with the name followed by a number e.g. MySession (2) instead of overwriting the existing one. This is not really useful. Ideally, Vivaldi should offer Save and Save As menu items, so that you could update the current session directly. -
Allow for tabs on window panel to be closed with middle mouse click
-
Allow for tabs to be tiled from the window panel using the normal button at the bottom of the page view:
Seems like the window panel could be a full replacement for side tabs
-
Add Button for Tiling to Window Panel Toolbar
@Glitcher, The Status Bar button is for Tiling Tabs, not Stacking them. IMO it would be more useful to have the button on the Windows Panel Toolbar.
-
Integrate Developer Tools into side panel
I always need to close the side panel at first because of the screen width when opening the inspect window. So, would be both quicker and more elegant in the side panel. -
Allow for clearing of cookies at a set interval
Add a way to clear cookies for sites every hour, day, week, and month. This would make it so I do not have to go in manually every time I want to clear my cookies. -
@olgaa Change the color of the snapshot Vivaldi logo. I primarily use the snapshot to get access to the latest features that Vivaldi team offers, this may be a minor annoyance, but really, give me a dark red, a bright orange, or even a bright blue. Grey is just dull...

I need to have possibility to set different start pages on different synced Vivaldis.
I.e. :
I am using Vivaldi 1.14 with Sync (bookmarks are synchronized). There are two Speed Dial folders.
It should be possible to set Speeddial1 to start page on PC1 and speeddial2 to start page on PC2 -
Being able to see content from different accounts in the same window, i.e. private panes, would be extremely useful and would almost certainly enhance Vivaldi's recognition as a unique browser.
From a user perspective, it doesn't make sense that windows, tabs, panes, and profiles can't be organized in any way the user wants them.
Basically, I think each tab should be assigned to a particular profile, not the other way around (each profile owns a set of tabs).
I get that Chromium dictates a lot of capabilities but from a user perspective, it's logical to be able to do this. Pretty much the only complications for the user are:
- How to clearly identify the profile and address per tab (and pane)? I propose that the profile name be added to the address bar as a dropdown (which would allow for easily switching panes/tabs between profiles).
- How to handle extensions and bookmarks? I propose that these controls, including address bar, be moved into the tab window but shared across all profile tabs/panes. It'll require a redesign/rethinking of these controls but I think it's possible with a little creativity.
From a development perspective, obviously, this probably requires some sort of client-server architecture (i.e. X?) so that only the views are presented in a shared client-view while process isolation is maintained by servers?

Shortcut for Hibernate Background Tabs
A shortcut for this option, currently only available in the right click menu, that can be tied to a gesture, or keyboard shortcut. -
Set focus to the next text field within a webpage, if that was possible, it would make keyboard navigation revolutionary.

Please add a hover ability to bookmark folders in the Bookmarks Bar. Firefox has this capability. Basically, if I click to open a folder dropdown, moving my mouse over another folder should then open that folder instead. It saves a click for those times I might click the wrong folder.
