@purgator said in Feature requests for 1.13:
Search in page <CTRL-F> / <F3> : - Selecting text on a webpage immediately copies the selected text to the findbar and searches for it (optional of course)
Interesting for people that come from Firefox with Findbar Tweak : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/findbar-tweak/

Pinch to zoom
I'm using Vivaldi on my Surface Pro, and with Edge or Chrome I use a lot pinch to zoom when I'm using it as tablet, to click on small button that are sometimes difficult to click on.
It's the biggest lack for me on vivaldi

On vertical tabs layout, nothing differentiates pinned tabs from other ones.
Ideally, they could be compacted to only show the icon and displayed inline. -
I often switch between horizontal and vertical tabs layout, depending on the number of opened tabs.
A nice addition would be an automatic switch between horizontal and vertical tabs: when reaching some maximal tabs count, or depending on the window width, the tab bar would automatically switch from horizontal to vertical, and back to horizontal when closing tabs.

@gwen-dragon These are mostly feature requests where I submitted detailed explanation and information as a ticket. Could you please restore them?

Add an option to open tabs in the foreground by default.
I'm coming from Firefox and one feature that I really miss is that I middle-click a link and it opens up in a tab that becomes the active tab automatically.
I have been told that it has been like this in Vivaldi as well, but has been changed due to user feedback. I respect this decision, but I would love to have a setting to chose between "open in background" and "open in foreground". -
Move search engine edit-box on right. Or open under the edited entry (no as the last one).

Extension update information
There is this button "Update extensions", and when you click on it, something happens. I would like to know:
- if any extension has an update
- the progress of the updates
- information when update is finished
