Intelligent Speed Dial Resizing.
I'd love an option for the Speed Dial to automatically resize thumbnails to fit on the screen so no scrolling. -
@hipnotyzer Thanks, but more complicated than what I'm looking for. I don't really care if cookies get saved. It makes the offending sites work. I just want a way to delete them without throwing out the baby with the bath water.

Ability to change the colors of the loading progress-bar (and even fonts) in the address bar field
Edit (30 October 2017)
I found this extention if you're searching for something similar. -
@veewii said in Feature requests for 1.13:
Proper tagging for bookmarks like in Firefox.
Yes, also support for %s wildcards in bookmar URLs and most importantly proper export of all bookmark data to HTML.
Currently nicknames and descriptions are discarded, they should be kept preferably in a Mozilla compatible format for best interoperability

@pesala I want this so badly.
-
@jedy You could try speeddial2 - an extension from the chrome store. Hands down the best speed dial out there.. better than opera as well.

Include the option when screen capturing a webpage to not open the native file browser immediately after capturing the screen.

Highlight Failed Download with Outline/Background Color
We need clear & easy to spot indication for failed/stopped download. When there are many downloads in the list, all similar circle icons to differentiate failed download from the rest is very inconvenience. IMHO the readability is poor & unfriendly to those with poor eyesight.
IMHO highlighting the failed download on the list with outline or background color will allow us to spot 'em quickly & clearly.
Thanks.

Reader View
- wait for full page to load, or improved scan for next page
I noticed while reading web novel it doesn't detect next page when I'm in reader view.
here's a page in question:

Reader View
-Add option to change font, background/colors.
I'm pretty much good with most of the options but would love to use a different font and change background, or at least add some other color outside text area.

In the configuration you can fit the type and size of the font, the width of the column and the light, dark background color or the theme that you have

Customizable middle click on empty tab bar area. I prefer to restore last closed tab.
-
A native way to block cryptocurrency miners scripts.
This is the most annoying thing on the internet nowadays...
-
A context menu option - "Open this webpage in a new private window" or a right click on the respective tab giving the option - clone this in a private window.
-
Dealing with links - Some combination like - 'shift' key +'left click' should help us in opening a link in Private Window. More easier than selecting the option from the context menu.

Feed reader and account synchronization will allow me to switch from Maxthon to Vivaldi.
Here is an example of Feed Reader in Maxthon, it's simple and very effective. -
The URL address bar does not being in focus automatically after creating new tab. I have to manually click on it after pressing ctrl+t
-
I suggest image and text preview version like in Brief extension

@metaleiroll Whut? Why not just use the bookmarks panel, and leave it open to that folder?
A web panel is a page, displayed in a special fashion. A bookmark folder is not a page and, realistically, cannot be a page, without extensive coding such as we see in Speed Dial. In fact, you can select MULTIPLE bookmark folders to show in Speed Dial, which can give you a single interface for each folder - if that helps.

Vivaldi should force <video> element load at last order
Recently, Youtube optimized it's video performance so good that it force video to be loaded first. As a result, most browser suffer from crappy performance when visiting Youtube!!!
Why video should ONLY be loaded after everything else? Because when video begin loading & playing, it will consuming most bandwidth & resources available, and since it also the largest file on the webpage, it will take forever to be complete. Thus it cause unnecessary slowdown & poor performance when Vivaldi need to handle heavy work (video) when busy loading other lighter stuff at once.
Now, what if we delayed video loading to last order? Vivaldi will be able to load & render lighter element quickly, and then ONLY concentrate on heavy duty stuff, the VIDEO.
Thanks.
