@cheve11e_191
Thank you! I up voted the one you linked. -
@sheldons Thanks!

Disable build-in date picker... There are workarounds for it, but they don't solve the issue (or rather yet - cause different issues0
-
@josephj11 I have the same feeling...
For me all of this equals to "enough - posting ideas here is just a waste of time"It's just sad because (for me) it looks like nobody cares about this...
This forum section have became yet another place to let users dump all of the sorrows to make them feel heard.This is not a real feedback but just a sh*tty ersatz
@gaelle => ?

@rotfl An optimum feedback/request structure has not yet been settled on. but it's top of mind among the Team.

Does anyone else see the irony in this? The right place to make feature requests is the Forum Feedback Forum.

@pesala OK, now I know what you were talking about - good idea.
-
@tomzorz It would be great if this also "tried" to reapply these edits when an update changes the base file - like if the affected section has not been modified.
-
@josephj11 How so? This existed pretty much verbatim in Opera <15, and is frankly an expected behavior if you're going to have a dedicated trash icon.
-
@lake Good idea. I believe I have seen it requested several times before.
-
@rebanar Moving interface elements around is important and has been requested many times.
-
@wraithtek Just use the middle mouse button to close tabs. It's faster anyway.
-
@wohdin Revisted it. Makes sense now. Upvoted.

FEATURE REQUEST: ALT+D to Select "Address Field"
Details:
This is a professional standard for all browsers just like CTRL+C, CTRL+V, CTRL+X, CTRL+T, ALT+F4, CTRL+W, and so on. ALT+D is a browsing standard shortcut for selecting the URL Address field to navigate the current window to another URL.Benefit:
Will win over those performance professionals who care about ROI and KPI on per minute efficiency bases.Impact:
None.Effort:
Minimal -
@dinoraptor You can define your own browser keyboard shortcuts in the settings menu.
- Go to settings > search for "create bookmark" (I think thats the alt+d default)
- Remove that shortcut by clicking it and pressing backspace
- Search for "focus address field"
- Click in that box and press Alt+D
-
Alternative shortcut to open pages from Quick Command panel.
Open Pages in New/Current Tab is permanent setting. Or one, either other, always. Would be great to have the ability choose it on entering. For example, Shift+Enter for the alternative Open option.

@rotfl I already know about holding right mouse and scroll. But it lack in accuracy.
Switching tabs using rocker provide tactile kinda feedback so you will know exactly how many tabs have you switched.
I previously use firefox addon Firegestures for this particular feature. Please give it a try. Once you are accustomed to it, it is hard to live without.
It is the only thing missing in Vivaldi. -
An option to turn on favicons in the 'search with' context menu option.
Also an option to list the search engines in the alphabetical order. -
@yes-aravind I don't think the search with menu needs an option to show favicons — it should show them by default as in Opera 12.17.
I reported the sorting of search engines in the menu by last used as a bug, but I suspect that it was an intentional change. Sorting Search Engines in Settings should be made possible.
