Option to Tile Fixed Tab.
You can tile two tabs together right now, which is great, but what about tiling one fixed tab that stays in place even after closing multiple tabs beside it, and keeping that fixed tab tiled until you turn it off? That would be a useful feature. It could be used to watch a video while reading something, or for reading two things, or comparing information to other information for more than 2 tabs, etc. It could be pretty useful.

Add a "Go"-Button to the Address Bar
A button you can press to open the address in the address bar.
This is useful when you are using the mouse with your right and type with the left hand or when using a Touchscreen, where you can paste/cut parts of the address via the context menu but can't press ENTER to go to this address. -
Ability to upgrade Vivaldi on next restart. Currently the Vivaldi update is being lost if it has finished downloading and you close the browser without interacting with it.
-
Add an option to always open links in the same tab/a new tab/a new window
An option where you can select that all links should open in- the same tab
- a new tab
- a new window
-
Add option in settings to disable autofill in text boxes on pages.
-
Add option to set a static grid on SpeedDial (n x m, ie. 5 x 9) and put thumbnails anywhere on this SpeedDial grid (with unused cells invisible). It will work very well with custom backgrounds (you could remove thumnails covering important parts of the picture). Currently you can only place thumbnails in linear fashion and they change their position when you change size of the window or open side panel (what’s the point of SpeedDial tiles when they change their position on the grid every time when you change window size and you have to search through them?).
-
Add really private window. Under 'Open private window' add menu position 'Open extra private window' (or different name you find suitable) - it will open completly clean private window - without history and search suggestions. So when somebody asks me to check something on the net I can open him this extra private window without all my data. Currently private window has access to all my history, passwords etc.

Please make password manager like in the old Opera. With separate button and shortcut for filling passwords. Managing multiple accounts was much easier. And login wasn't visible to everyone.

Make 4 options when downloading a file:
-'save as' - allows to change name of the file and download location befor download (with last used folder as default (or default folder if saving to default folder is chosen in options))
-'save' - saves to last used folder (or default)
-'save and open' - saves file to last used folder (or default) and opens it
-'open' - saves file to temp folder and opens it, then deletes after closing it
Also path to default download folder in settings should be chosen from list of folders on your PC - not written manually. -
Add warning when closing Vivaldi when file is downloading.
-
Handle search field separately for each tab.
The search field should default to the default search engine and shouldn't show the last search term from other tabs.
Of course this should be an option. -
Built-In RSS Reader / Subscriber

Bookmarks Menu
-
Add middle click functionality in the bookmarks bar.
In all other Chromium based browsers you can middle click on a subfolder in bookmarks bar to open all bookmarks in that subfolder in new tabs.
In Vivaldi this only works for top level folders in the bookmarks bar or in the bookmarks menu in the side panel.
-
Full color tabs
-
Option to move status bar settings to side panel bar.
There is plenty of empty space on side bar and status bar, why not combine this two in one (as an option of course). For users who don't use status bar it will give much quicker access to additional options.
-
Improve the downloads with a petite download manager:
- throttle / bandwidth allocation (global / per download)
- multiple connections
- show speed / ETA

Win8 style tiles would be much better. 1×1 should show only the favicon of the page, while bigger tiles could show a screenshot, bigger icons, or live content via speed dial extensions.
