Floating Mini-Window
It would be neat to be able to pin a tab as a small window on top of the main tab. This would be useful for watching videos, video chat, stock tickers etc.
@Nlope said in Feature requests for 1.12:
The option to watch videos in pop-ups (can resize it the way you prefer), this helps in some cases.
I concur for the video pop-up, this option proves to be really useful/helpful many times, Opera has it quite some time now and I find it a really cool feature.

Customize Disk Cache size, location, on/off
Yes, the GUI.
-
also the pop-up menu of opera with search and copy would be nice a nice alternative of this as well, so that you do not need to spend time on dragging the text

I've just found Vivaldi today, after finding out that most of Firefox's extensions (which I currently use to make FF like Opera 12) will stop working in November.
So far I'm loving it, but the lack of customisation of button positioning is extremely frustrating! Pretty much everything you suggested would be great. I have a whacking great long address bar at the top, which could easily have a quarter or a third of the length taken off it to accommodate buttons from the status bar.
Basically, I want to be able to put any button anywhere!
EDIT: Oops, I meant to reply to someone, but seem to have accidentally posted to the main list. Sorry!

@jdouglas Vote for the issue posted earlier.

Ability to add/move/remove buttons and UI elements.

Reload Tab Stack
I really need this item added to the tab context menu (and keyboard shortcuts).
Particularly useful if one has a tiled stack of similar tabs and need to update them all.

@LonM Thank you! But I'd still love to have the pop-up tab list displayed, like in O12. That would make it easier to switch to that specific tab you want to go back to.

The Gesture Action:
-
Nice suggest.
It would be nice to also cater for non-gesture users, by adding "MOVE TABS TO THE RIGHT TO A NEW WINDOW" to the tab menu (right click tab).

Open New Window (over a link) Mouse Gesture
Currently the "New tab" and "new background tab" have "over a link" variants. But no such variant exists for a new window. Ideally this would have the same functionality as the context menu option "open link in new window".

@Pesala Don't worry, I did!
-
there are a lot of functions in the right click bookmarks menu but not one to "show in the folder" (like google chrome). add it!!!

Nicknames match on Sessions
Add the option to create nicknames on sessions. For better and faster opening saved sessions from Quick command bar. -
More Drawing options
Add more, drawning options for mouse gestures. I think, not only horizontal and vertical lines, but also oblique, or circles, and etc.
Like this:
-
More setting options for Web panels
Options like: show adress, set zoom, set value of separate wide, hibernation, mute, lazy loading etc. -
Page loading time
Add displaying information about page load time in the address bar while loading pages -
Scheduled themes: Own background images
Add the option to choose your own background images in the Scheduled themes. For example: If I have selected a color combination of red and blue, so I want image on background with a red boat at blue sea. And in another change theme with color combination of orange and dark blue, I want a background of a sunset on the savanna.
I hope you understand what I mean by that. Color themes match with the color of the background image.
