@Cail said in Vivaldi 1.11 – Focus on accessibility:
When i'm using "Minimize Active Tab" it isn't getting affected by "Activate In Recently Used Order" anymore, when i click active tab again and again, it won't take me back to the last active tab, it just cycles through all the tabs in order.
@cail: Same regresion here:
1.11.917.39 (Stable channel) (64-bit version)
Operating System: Linux x86.64 -
@cail: You can edit your post in Forum, here: https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/20015/vivaldi-1-11-focus-on-accessibility/54#
And did you report Tab bug?
-
@blisca: I tried, bug reporting isn't working atm. but apparently it has been reported already, so, yey.
-
@LigH Hope that Vivaldi 1.12 will be like Opera 12 - with mail.
-
@blisca I suspect Vivaldi will increment to 2.0 with the release of email.
-
Many congratulations on the wonderful project you are building. I do like improvements and have some I'd like to see to the Vivaldi UI but actually it's quite good now. When I read "much larger visual overhaul" I get a little nervous do to the fact it's so good now. But I am now most curious what is coming next. Best wishes Vivaldi Team.

As long as Vivaldi continues to lose History from one session to another I'll never use it. This is a major bug that has existed for a long time. It's a shame because Vivaldi has lots of potential.
-
@lvsunz3748, do you meant you loose history after restart Vivaldi?
Or after update?
Never happen to me.
Do you report this to bug tracker?Cheers, mib

@g_bartsch "I am now most curious what is coming next."
heh heh heh - wouldn't you like to know...
-
@Ayespy Judging by this response it's gonna be good.
-
@lvsunz3748 How much do you lose? All? Half? Small bits of it? Sometimes I can't find a few things I thought I should be able to so wondered if they went missing but my history has reams of URLs in it.

...Vivaldi continues to lose History from one session to another...
I know some users who would love such a feature, but unfortunately we don't offer it. The only way to turn off history saving right now is to use a private window. Otherwise, it saves up to the length of time the users sets.
If you can tell us how you get history to disappear between sessions, we'd love to learn it.
-
@ayespy: Yeah, you could say that... But until this problem is resolved, I will use another browser to check my mails...
-
@tokrcz: I noticed this too. It was introduced a while ago in the snapshots. Before the RC. I made a post about it once in the 1.11.901.3 snapshot, so that must have been when it was introduced.
I notice both the font size in tabs, and the font size in the status bar were smaller. I didn't notice anywhere else.

@asianmusicguy: No need for it, the media developer has it well organised in the bug tracker all media bug, there are still around 100 open bugs so it may take a little longer, but it has already had some progress.
Also, another internal tester said that https://www.amazon.de/prime/ works.
-
@An_dz great thank you yes https://www.primevideo.com is for Canada based users and a few other amazon locations that cam not integrate for whatever reason into the main website properly so that might be a clue treat https://www.primevideo.com as a entirely separate website also another clue may be that i sometimes on occasion when trying can see a amazon originals video ad in the player but it never loads my main content i selected please reply with your thoughts maybe you need a Canada based tester specific for this issue? if you dont already have one?

@Ayespy Again with the teasing! Gosh power goes to some people's heads
-
@Steffie You know my lips are sealed. I'm bound to secrecy. Besides, I haven't actually seen the product so...
-
@Ayespy One for the old-time Monty Python fans...
We could kidnap you, then subject you to merciless torture via our flying Spanish Inquisition squad, replete with Soft Cushions, & as a last resort, The Comfy Chair.
No human can resist such diabolical techniques... those lips would be unsealed in a jiffy.
