@guigirl I imagine it’s tough. I’ll try and be more empathetic going forward.
-
-
@barbudo2005 I'll go sit in the naughty corner now. Bad girl. Bad bad girl.
-
@barbudo2005 She’s so vain. She probably thinks this post is about her.
-
I don't remember you having me several years ago, when I was still quite naive. However, i do still suffer from clouds in my coffee, clouds in my coffee.
Very nicely played!

Hi. I have a Request: Duplicate the standard theme by enabling'+' button
since I only want to change default blue accent (take another person, just the background)
Currently, changing single entry is too hectic. -
@SteveOneil Does this help?
{"themeName":"standard","colorBg":"#ffffff","colorFg":"#000000","colorHi":"#c91106","colorAc":"#3b57bb","colorLi":"#4c70f0","colorCo":"#4c70f0","colorDd":"#ffffff"}
-
@luetage it did, thanks.
-
@SteveOneil The problem is that the Standard theme is actually an option to turn off the theme machine. It leaves Vivaldi’s theming in place and only introduces a little bit of CSS to theme added modifications. Therefore it cannot be “duplicated.” Either you load all changes the theme machine introduces and then you are able to tweak it to your liking, or you use the standard theme and edit it with custom CSS on the modifications page.
@nomadic took a look at your request and we might still activate the + button for the Standard theme, which would load 7 fixed colors to imitate the Standard theme in the theme machine. But it won’t do what you apparently expect it to do.
-
This is a test...
-
@nomadic A-.
-
@guigirl Please, that will kill my perfect GPA here on the forum
And since no one else seems to be getting grades, I guess it means I am both best and worst in the class...
-
@nomadic Now lookee here. If you have the temerity to infer that my rigorously independent assessment & marking processes are susceptible to emotional pleadings, or tacky bribes, my solicitors will be unleashed upon you.
Ofc, were you to deliver a shiny new TST for me, you'd get A++ & my solicitors remain in their kennel.

Here is my try to mimic github dark default mode:
{"themeName":"GitLook","colorBg":"#0d1117","colorFg":"#c9d1d9","colorHi":"#e37861","colorAc":"#13233a","colorLi":"#58a6ff","colorCo":"#99c8ff","colorDd":"#161b22"}
It doesn't feel correct yet, but its a start. I.e. I am not sure what "Code" is for in the theme machine.
Help and changes are welcome to get closer to the desired look. -
@bariton Code is used for code, e.g.
this is code
and button foregrounds and backgrounds and other miscellaneous stuff. We only have 7 colors to play with, so colors and variants of these colors are reused around the forum. -
@luetage Ah thank you, now code makes sense. I was just surprised about the buttons, but now I understand.
-
@bariton Before version 3 the color was called »Button.« Nowadays Foreground, Highlight, Link and Code are used as foreground colors, the name change emphasizes this. If any of these colors doesn’t have enough contrast to the background, text will become unreadable.
