@Smida3 As a user you should understand that Vivaldi is only two years old and is still under development. There are bound to be many things that are still unpolished. To call it "unprofessional" is only showing your ignorance of the way that development works. When you come across something like this, which is obviously broken, Submit a Bug Report

a new shortcut request => Paste and Go in a New Tab
this way when having a URL in clipboard you don't have to open a new tab and then use "Ctrl + Shift + V"... you could just hit this shortcut wherever you are in Vivaldi and it would open a new tab and paste and go!

Add compatibility for the Visualping extension.
-
allow giving the file name for screenshots. For example, in the F2 quick command input box:
capture page to file: example.png
is expected to save the screenshot as example.png in the default directory. If a path is given, save it to the given path.

@Pesala
Come on. We are all friends and I absolutelly love Vivaldi. No need to take anything personally.
I do not consider this a bug. The feature is missing rather than being broken in my eyes. But that is just my opinion and I could be wrong. Do you, other people, think Its a bug?Vivaldi is awesome for what it is but if we want to treat Vivaldi on the same level as Chrome or Mozilla we must not ignore this stuff. Like it or not it makes Vivaldi seem unprofesional so thats why we are here
... to find it, request it, vote it and make Vivaldi a better browser for everyone.
Please, I want no flame. Lets solve this like civilized people.

Hotkey Request for Note Insertion Menu
It would be really awesome if users could configure a hotkey for quickly bringing up the Note Insert menu so a user could then navigate quickly and insert.
-
Search Feature for Note Insertion
Having the Notes feature is absolutely brilliant in Vivaldi. It would be really great if, as part of the insert process, users could actually perform a search of their notes from the Note Insertion menu (or popup or whatever would be required for this sort of feature). This would enable users who have tons of notes to winnow them down.
-
Titles for Notes
Having the option to add titles to notes would allow users to focus on the names of their notes rather than having to scroll through the content to find the note they wish to use. I think this feature in conjunction with, say, a search feature and category feature could make this immensely useful for businesses and perhaps even help-desk settings where users have to access quick responses.
-
Tagging Functionality for Notes
Having the option to tag notes would allow users to cross-reference the notes they save in specific folders and would also be really valuable when joined with the search capability.

@zaibon
I having the same issues as the OP. All options, related to the history display, are enabled. -
Touch screen mode for win tablets
- Move & re-arrange tiles by thumb
- Bigger address bar - bigger icons - bigger fonts
- Larger spaces between menu elements & extension icons
- Auto-hide address, bookmarks & tab bar

@esatt Your following request for titles in notes is already possible. Open the notes panel, click a note to select its title in the panel and type a new name.
If you choose your note folder names and note titles carefully so that no two folders or no two notes within a folder begin with the same letter then you can easily search and insert a note using the access keys. For example, I have a folder named Feature Requests, with a note called Editing of Menus which I can insert with the sequence:
- Menu key (between Right Ctrl Key and Right Windows key) Shift+F10 can also be used.
- I (for Insert Note)
- F (for Feature Requests folder)
- E (for Editing of Menus)

@awking
Your computer is used by someone not trustworthy and all you worry about is your Vivaldi profile? How about an OS guest account for this person? -
Removed, as it was suggested here already:

Ctrl+clicking an image open in a tab should open a save dialog. Again, just like in Opera.

@jumpsq said in Feature requests for 1.11:
Option to configure Key shortcut combinations (using return codes for logical combinations)
Oh that would be so great. I really miss my Close current + Switch to last tab/Close current + Switch to the tab on the left/Close current + Switch to the tab on the right keybindings.

@RammsteinAM said in Feature requests for 1.11:
Mute and remember
Black list of sites (domains) from which user never wants to hear a sound.
Come to think of it, a whitelist could be more interesting here. So why not both? A list that can work either as a black or a whitelist. I certainly want to allow sound only on some of the pages I visit where I specifically request content with sound (like, youtube for example).

Please add FAYT aka Typeahead Find aka Incremental Search.
With FAYT, you simply start typing away a search term when you are on a web page. Then, all occurrences of the search term are highlighted instantly, just as if you had pressed Ctrl+F beforehand.
It's incredibly convenient, and does not have any drawbacks really.
You can try it on stock Firefox by activating this setting:

@rodriggodell Already requested above, but as @JuniorSilva30 said in Feature requests for 1.11:
I think to do this you have to pay Google.
You can add the Mobile Google Translation web page as a Web Panel, and cut and paste text to that. It works very well, but is not convenient for translating full web pages.
