Stylish - Unable to install themes form the stylish website.
i am not sure if this is the correct subforum but it made the most sense to me.
I am currently trying to install new themes via https://userstyles.org/styles for the stylish extension.
But unfortunately when hitting the Install Style button on the page nothing happens. Like nothing at all.
The website seems to be able to identify already installed themes so it seems that it is able to make a connection between the extension and the website.
Installing a style from the dropdown that comes up when clicking on the stylish extension on a website works but there is unfortunately just a very limited amount of styles so being able to make use of the website ones would be great.
Would really appreciate any help here to get it to work.
The extension has problems on chromium browsers, try Stylus instead.
Other Stylish features seem working right.
No idea why.
Best bet, you need to copy/paste manually. But will lost update ability.
Consider to use Stylus instead.
Also tested with Google Chrome Beta 59.0.3071.61
Thanks but it seems that stylus has some issues as well with the install from the website.
For example this theme has advanced options: https://userstyles.org/styles/118180/dusky-gray-facebook-dark-theme to have colored icons. But it seems to always install the default option so there are only the grey icons.
Any suggestions for that?
I notice that too.

It seem the site new style broken some things, style settings included.
I tried to check if any change occur in CSS sample in that site when I play with style settings, no different at all.
These guys are not interested to fix their Stylish extension and website for Vivaldi.
I use the fixed extension Stylus (does not have any privacy problems like Stylish) and all installing of styles works fine with Vivaldi on userstyles_org.
I use the fixed extension Stylus
Me too, & it's still working well [though i still have to learn lots more about css].
I'm switching to Stylus; Stylish not reliable.
