All functions in Vivaldi is great!

this browser is just ridiculous... all other browsers are faster...<
The really ridiculous thing is that the true is the exact opposite of what you say (actually Vivaldi is faster than Opera, Chromium, Firefox - tested on Linux Mint 18.1 vs Windows 7 Ultimate - both on pc desktop and old Compaq laptop...)
Considering also that it is a relatively new browser, I say it works great. Anyway, if you experience some issue with Vivaldi, why don't you help devs explaining what's goin on, instead of post unnecessary comments? -
@vivald777: And yet, the default browser on all six of my dual core devices is Vivaldi...
-
Ugh some settings reset again because of the update (I think my themes got reset... anyway the appearance is annoying)
Well I'll try out the engine if it won't be too detrimental to my search experience -
@luvmets: Stop spreading this false, alarmist crap.
-
@student975: Which Linux? On my Mint 18.1 (Serena) it behaves exactly as expected.
-
@aa111 I long for the en-straya day.

Is not the best Vivaldi release (at least under Linux)
Is working delectably well on this little purple duck's Linux.

Every update is a great surprise to me! It's awesome how the developer's team is working to make this navigator evolve, improving it's features and priorizing the user experience without sacrifying the sweet appearance it has.

@Quinca71 If anything, nowhere in Ecosia site they claim to have a Chrome extension, and the Chrome extension does not look official. For Firefox they do have a blog post about it. There are complains that it hijacks searches from other engines, or something like that, but not that it can't be uninstalled or disabled.

If you mean for Ecosia - the default nickname is Ecosia
Thanks for your help! Yes, I wanted to add the same nickname as Vivaldi uses by default. (I've manually added Ecosia.)

@ryofurue Are you guys sure it’s not
e

thanks a lot! I love Vivaldi
I'm curious, what is extensions which shown in "change the order of your extensions in the address bar" which looks like Ghost and as a deer?

I presume that the ghost is the Ghostery extension. I am not so sure about the jumping rabbit icon.

@Dantesoft e is the shortcut, name is Ecosia.

I realize that adding a search engine choice does not require one to use it. We all know that. I know that I can simply not use it. My concern was that as Vivaldi makes this choice available with a BIG splash, in these days of privacy concerns, it would have been nice to do full disclosure about what happens to your data so that folks can make an informed choice of search engines. It's not unfair to say Vivaldi made this choice very appealing (which it is). But, please disclose all the details, that's all.

I expect the browser to have built-in translation capabilities!~~
-
@oppaidaisuki: Browsers do not perform translation. Period. They connect to various cloud services with serious computing power that do translation.

So, has Vivaldi been modified yet to allow me to move my tabs below the address bar?
