Gmail + Vivaldi to open mailto links

How do I have mailto links on a page, open up in a Gmail email window, while Gmail is already open with Vivaldi? There are instructions on doing this with other browsers--I've had it done for years, but I couldn't find anything telling me how to do this with Vivaldi.

I know with other browsers, I've been able to have a Gmail compose window open up. OK perhaps it will take time for this to be implemented. Thanks anyways.
