@pafflick
Yeah, figure. It's fine here in Linux/Debian too.
I even test with creating random super dark theme, the scroll bar still there & noticeable. As I said before - it's not a display issue at all - the UI element is not invoked. The function does not exist.
Edit: (speculation) presumably the scrollbar is supposed to be enabled when the content size is larger than the available visible size - so maybe there's a problem calculating that relationship... like Windows scaling, maybe?
YEP! BUG IDENTIFIED... I set scaling in Win10 from 125% to 100% and the scrollbar appears.
Now, how much commission do I get for solving this for Vivaldi...?!

@iAN-CooG Thanks. I ask my web host to solve this issue.

@Gwen-Dragon I do not understand, the bug is not on the list of reported ? image
Or could not reproduce the error ?
Here's this problem!
I'm going to do a clean install to see if that will work! -
@Gwen-Dragon Many thanks for informing! I did not understand correctly because my English is terrible! And Google translator does not help much.
Now I get it! Thank you!
I will do a clean installation and see if it will solve! -
@Gwen-Dragon The problem happens if you enter the nickname and select the folder (it only opens a link and not the 5)
Now if I enter the nickname of the folder and hit enter it will open the 5 links without problems.
I did not have this problem before.

Awesome, I love how you guys are thinking of those of us who actually like to keep bookmarks and history in order. Especially good bookmarking features are a must-have for me in a good browser.

@Gwen-Dragon said in A historic snapshot – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 1.8.770.9:
@JuniorSilva30 Nicks are used like this:
- Click in Address field
- Type nick
- Hit Enter
you can also use nicks on f2 quick commands, and there's even an option to open the bookmarks on nickname match, which avoids to press enter
-
@Gwen-Dragon Okay, I used to use it that way, but sometimes I would do it that way, select the name of the nickname.
Now I'll just do it the way you said it.
Thank you again! -

This feature is very good! One of my favorites from Vivaldi!

@Gwen-Dragon said in A historic snapshot – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 1.8.770.9:
I don't know if that designed to work like you wished.
It works in the previous version, as you said, I think it was not to work that way lol, but anyway Vivaldi still has many ways to do it!

Add “Open Image” to image context menu (VB-25883)
YES!! Thank you!I loved this new snapshot! The new history is gonna be so useful i I ever lose my session due to any mistakes (as happened in the past when I updated the browser).

@blisca: Insiders have access to mails for a long time now, almost two years. Having an icon doesn't prove it's close.
However, we never have been so close to the release of mail (as we never have been so close to christmas 2017 ) -
@Gwen-Dragon said in A historic snapshot – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 1.8.770.9:
@JuniorSilva30 I reported the issue you found with mouse selection of folder shortcut in adress field as a bug VB-26278
Thank you very much!

How are the colours for the history graphs determined? In my theme, they go from grey to greyish grey to grey with a hint of red. Kinda hard to tell what's what.

I want to bring up VB-25342 yet again because the argument has always been that Widevine Content Decryption Module can not be the issue with video not working on high profile steaming sites because "Firefox has the older version and it works fine" however i feel the need to point out that Firefox has 2 other decrption modules Adobe Content Decryption Module (CDM) and OpenH264 Widevine Content Decryption Module was only added recently and almost never supersedes the other two so the previous argument is invalid
sp ,may we please just update Widevine Content Decryption Module to 1.4.8.962 before 1.8 final? -
Love it!! I've not been this excited about a browser since the old Opera days. the new innovations and features are fantastic. Keep em coming.
-
I like it very much.
But is there a possibility to open the new history-page from the history-panel? I can not find any button there and have to open the menu to the submenu-entry or hit Ctrl+H.
Would be nice to have a "shortcut-button" -
@mossman: Well, I've no problems with the scrollbars in windows... but I've another issue: http://imgur.com/a/jI6hm
(Vivaldi 1.8, not updated, in standalone install, sent as VB-26287 - forgive me for the cryptic explanation xD) -
This update broke Vivaldi for me because prior updates failed to remove the now-obsolete file /opt/vivaldi-snapshot/libffmpeg.so. After I removed it by hand, everything worked.

@hadden89: Ok, it's a UI zoom issue: I set on 85% and I have the gap on panels. Set on 100% and the panel is normal again.
