Dual bootings Ubuntu Studio and Linux Mint

@MidnightRaccoon So now I'm dual booting Manjaro and Kubuntu to test the former. I could have used a VM for testing purposes, but this way provides the full experience, ie how snappy or slow it really is as opposed to the loss of performance in a VM. So far, I'm really enjoying Manjaro.

Now switched to Manjaro Plasma from XFCE. Usually use Plasma, but I thought XFCE was the better supported DE.
Despite the warning, I had attempted to install Plasma along with XFCE, but the result was hideous with chunky, old fashioned looking widgets and black fonts on top of a black background. So I reinstalled the OS. It took a couple tries though, weirdly. Grub was missing some files or something (didn't bother to look since the old Manjaro install was gone already), so the simplest solution was to try again and it worked.

@MidnightRaccoon This is interesting. Plasma is using the same system resources as XFCE did. It really isn't any heavier

I have been using Ubuntu for years. Now I would like to give a try to EndeavourOS.
I feel ready to approach ArchLinux ecosystem now!!! -
Kde neon. Others (debian, arch) for test in virtual machines.

I use Fedora since for me and my hardware it has been and continue to be as solid and stable as can be for coming up on i think three years now. Really enjoy the experience.
But also Debian 12 on a spare/old Macbook Air from 2013 and i am a few days in on testing openSUSE Tumbleweed on actual hardware too.
@bcarrella Read a lot of good things about EOS. Have you tried it, or arch before and if so, what were those experiences like? I have considered giving Arch a try and if that happens there is a high likelyhood EOS will be my choice too but if im being honest with myself i think Tumbleweed with their openQA might be as daring iยดm prepared to be.

@pjol I haven't tried Arch yet but I'm very curious about giving a try to rolling world. I will try to install it on a spare external SSD drive. I'm undecided about vanilla Arch with some toolkit like XeroLinux or to go with a derivative like EndevourOS. On my server instances I definitively would stay with Debian or its derivatives for stability.
