Seize the moment with Vivaldi 1.7

@colebantam: Hey, cole, what OS are you running? I can't reproduce the issue on my w10
-
@aronand: I just realized its somehow intermittent. Just had two downloads that I could remove with the button. A minute before I had to use the individual delete functions of each download to remove it from the list. I'm on Win81 Pro x64. I get back to this when I found a way to reproduce this...
-
@colebantam: Also getting the can't clear downloads from the panel, not sure if mines intermittent also as just downloaded 32bit Win 10
-
@Aronand I've had the same issue here on Windows 10. However, after removing the first item on the download list, the cleanup button became active and I was able to clear all items from the list.

@asleo: dev tools, security tab
-
@asleo It's a new Chromium "feature", see this thread.
Anyway, you can view the certificates through the Developer Tools: Open context menu anywhere in thew page and click on Inspect or go to Menu > Tools > Developer Tools and switch to the Security tab. The View certificate button will be there (on secure pages).
-
@colebantam it sometimes appear unclickable, but if you click the "-" icon for removing first element, then the brush icon becomes clickable again. Of course should be fixed but it's a workaround for now.
edit: I see now that @pafflick already told the same, at least I can confirm the workaround -
Good job on new version,
still i miss auto load on web panels, i hate to wait web panel to load for each one i click,
and rocking gestures not working on web panels. -
@matmur44: should be fixed now
-
@Aronand It also affects the Vivaldi Menu Icon. Standalone installation on Windows 10.
-
@pesala: That menu is dependant on your Theme Configuration, however, try the Light Theme or turn off the "Apply Accent Color to Window" in the Theme Preferences, and you should see it turn back to red
-
@somiknight: clicking on tab when vivaldi is in background changes tab to previous one, should stay the same, regression from before
-
@Apocalypse Mine has autoupdated so it must be working, perhaps you are on a different version.
-
@witchtech it was simply too early, the announcement already appeared but the files weren't already on servers. After some minutes everything worked.

The Scaling of Popups from Extension-Icons (upper right) are still wrong. In detail: the scaling depends for these popups depends on the first monitor, whereas the rest of the vivaldi uses the scaling of the monitor it's actual running under. On my Windows 10, the first monitor has a scaling of 150% and the second 100%. Vivaldi is scaled correctly on both, but the extension-popups are always scaled to 150%, which makes these unusable on the second monitor. The "save to"-popup seems to be affected too.
-
@bahmud: The trick is to start Vivaldi with the added command line argument: --profile-directory
This is not tested a lot by us and is inherited from Chromium, but it seems to work.
-
@ruario: Just for info, don't know if I should post as bug, as it's a work in progress
While in snapshot (it's still in RC1) the new history page/panel seems to works perfectly without slowdowns, in final seems to slow and break things. So probably the issue for it is to be find between RC2 and stable (which probably are the same).
Win 10, Vivaldi x64. -
Hi, ty V team for all the good work on Vivaldi.
Updated just now to 1.7 from 1.6 (up to date) and i see no history on panel. Bug or not on final release?
Win 10, Vivaldi x86.

best update yet guys bless you for all your hard work but as i suspected since the component for html5 DRM videos was not updated my issue still exists and amazon has been ignoring me but today suggested i update only thing is i cant as i said (VB-25342) needs fixing if only to prove to them its not on our end again this only affects users of the international amazon video service via https://www.primevideo.com and not users who can stream off the main site
