Map your keyboard shortcut for screenshots… Only in Vivaldi Browser? :) - Snapshot 1.7.725.3

<- rejoicing…
Opera went from accurate plus/minus buttons to pointless stupid slider and I never understood why! Now, finally, Vivaldi does another UI the "right way" instead of "the same as the others".

Just stubled across the same issue…
Vivaldi 1.7.725.3 (32-bit) on Win7 (64-bit) -
BANKID is not working, seems the Javascript does not run.
Debian Jessie 64bit -
Don't mouse gestures work at all on a track pad?
-
Confirmed.
Does not work in Opera 44 either. But IE9 works!Win7x64 Vx32
-
incremental updates don't work anymore on x64 version: vivaldi downloads the whole package.
Is it known (1), wished by design (2), or a bug (3)? -
Hi. Please forgive me for being overly nitpicky about Mac UI-related issues…
Over the weekend, I was trying to figure out why Vivaldi seemed to look less vivid than native apps like Safari. No matter what subtle tweaks I made to the theme colours to give them a more native look, the Vivaldi tab bar still looked grey whereas Safari's toolbar looks more silver. It's okay... I can live with this. However, in the process, I also noticed a few other things:
With the Appearance (in OS X's System Settings) set to "Blue", the colour of your red/amber/green window control buttons are not the same as the native values, at least not on OS X 10.11.6. (I confirmed this using Digital Color Meter.app) Vivaldi's button colours are not quite as vibrant as they should be. The "Graphite" buttons, however, are pretty close to native.
I also noticed that the window control buttons are too close to the left edge of the window. Compare Vivaldi with apps such as System Settings, Safari or iTunes and you'll see that the buttons need to be shifted to the right. There also needs to be a bit more more space between the green button and the leftmost tab.
Lastly, right-clicking on the window controls should either do nothing or prompt me to do something sensible like (in the case of Safari) customize the toolbar. If I change the OS X system Appearance while Vivaldi is running (or trigger some other UI bugs), right-clicking on Vivaldi's window controls brings up a "Add to iTunes as a Spoken Track" / “Open URL" context menu. If I click "Open URL", it opens the current page in Safari, my default browser.
Hopefully these little things will be very easy to fix... Thanks!

I also can confirm, I was having trouble figuring out what exactly triggered it (b/c it didn't happen on ALL queries), thanks for this!

I seem to be having touch screen issues with the Vivaldi window on my Surface 3 PRO. The scrolling does not always work. I've tested it with other apps (Word, etc) and they work fine. Is this perhaps something other users are seeing too?
PS: Tried with Firefox and no issues. Vivaldi seems to want to "paint" instead of seeing it as scroll input. No idea why, is there a setting somewhere?

Bug: Can't go back after full screen video

Thx guys, I loved the changes about the Screenshot feature. I would like to add some suggestions, starting with the quote I did from Alexis:
• Vivaldi saved the captures without asking on $HOME/Pictures/Vivaldi Captures/
– better save this with asking or in download folder.
• The file name is very cryptic, better with timestamps:
– e.g. vivaldi-[translate]-%H-%M-%S.png/jpgAbout the file name, i'd add the data + time
Other suggestions:
-
I liked the extensions toggle button, I just add an option to choose how many extensions I would like to see before I click on the button to see all the extensions. And add an option where I choose which extensions I would like to see before click on the toggle button.
-
Is there a possibility to do a .GIF format for saving? It would be great to report some bugs
-
I tested the keyboard command to screenshot for tab and window, I like both. But about the Window screenshot command (when you select the area to do the screenshot), I would like to add an option to do a screenshot always from an area chosen previously.

Seems like this update has broken searching from the addressbar a bit. When the search string includes a dot, it thinks you are typing an address.
For example searching for:
g ScriptManager.RegisterStartupScript
results in:
http://g/ scriptmanager.registerstartupscript/
instead of searching using google for:
ScriptManager.RegisterStartupScript
Windows 10/ Vivaldi 64bit

I'm seeing the same problem on my Surface Pro 2, it's like the UI and webpages are separated, I have to tap either one to get touch working : if I want to scroll the webpage, I have to tap it first to focus it, then I can scroll with touch, but if I want to change tab, I have to tap the tab bar once and then the tab I want.

Any news regarding this longstanding bug?
(VB-23181) Sometimes Links of closed website are opened

Why doesn't Vivaldi show correctly the titles in Medium?
It show them with a "Lucida Grande" font, instead of the "Kievit Pro Bold" as in Chrome, Opera, Firefox, Edge? -
Hey, plovec, could you provide an image displaying one title from Vivaldi and one title from f-example chrome side by side?
-
No news right now, the issue is confirmed, and we'd like to have it fixed, but no definitive timeline as to when that happens
-
Yes, we've confirmed the issue, and have a potential fix currently being tested, stay tuned for the next snapshot and it will hopefully be in
Thanks

It depends on what version you are updating from, if you are on the latest version when a new release is out, you'll get the incremental update, but if you are two or more updates behind, the whole package will download. Was this the case for you?
