Map your keyboard shortcut for screenshots… Only in Vivaldi Browser? :) - Snapshot 1.7.725.3
-
This update and the last one put the focus on the update window again, minimazing my game… Wasn't this supposed to be fixed ? I have to close Vivaldi each time I play now to avoid this...

Hmm, this site crashes every time (dead bird):
http://direkte.vg.no/studio/tata-steel-2017Win7x64 Vx32
EDIT:
If you load other pages in the same tab after the crash, no thumb will be generated (but the pages load fine). -
Yes, I can also confirm this issue with the Windows version of 32-bit Vivaldi running on Windows 10 (64-bit).
However, I notice that if you use "site:" argument in the search term for Google and Bing in the address bar (blah burp site:bbc.co.uk), that works fine.
Trying again to post this as my other posts seemed, at the time, to not go with the poster I was replying to, which might confuse things.

Yes the clock is set correctly. I've checked all suggestions regarding the clock, or deleting cookies, history, etc. The message I get is the following:
"Your connection is not private
Attackers might be trying to steal your information from www.google.com (for example, passwords, messages or credit cards). NET::ERR_CERT_WEAK_SIGNATURE_ALGORITHMwww.google.com normally uses encryption to protect your information. When Vivaldi tried to connect to www.google.com this time, the website sent back unusual and incorrect credentials. This may happen when an attacker is trying to pretend to be www.google.com, or a Wi-Fi sign-in screen has interrupted the connection. Your information is still secure because Vivaldi stopped the connection before any data was exchanged.
You cannot visit www.google.com at the moment because the website uses HSTS. Network errors and attacks are usually temporary, so this page will probably work later. "

Anyone else getting Ctrl + Enter in the address bar to stop working occasionally? Need to investigate further what causes it but it's really annoying
Win 10/ Vivaldi 64bit

Just use "Capture Selection" and click without dragging.

Confirmed, makes also this page crash, where i click the link from

Epic as always! Thank you!
Regarding your question – unfortunately Vivaldi wasn't first browser with built-in screen capture feature. Maxthon Cloud Browser had this feature too and it worked pretty well. User could also write notes and insert basic shapes before saving. The feature allowed capturing screen even when the browser was minimized in tray icon on Windows Taskbar. For sure it's one of the best features I can imagine. I'm glad to see it in Vivaldi. -
I will install when sync and Mail will be launched, with rss, off course. By the way, GOOD JOB, CONGRATULATIONS!
-
I just realized that dragging a bookmark over the folder structure doesn't result in the folders opening while the bookmark is hovering over them. This is great! Thank you so much.

But the question was: Is Vivaldi the first to offer you to map your keyboard shortcut to capture a page?
-
For example the page zoom can use buttons rather than the slider.
I've just updated to the latest snapshot but I see only the slider near the lower-right corner for page zoom. How can I enable the buttons?
Zooming has been a bit of pain because the slider is too sensitive to me. What I currently do is to click on the slider, hit the left or right arrow key to zoom in or out, and click on an empty space within the page to unselect the slider.
I know there are keyboard shortcuts to zoom in and out but they differ from application to application and I'm never able to remember which shortcut works on which application: Is it just "Shift =", or "Cmd =", or "Cmd Shift =", "Ctrl Shift =" ? (You know, the plus symbol is obtained by "Shift" + "=" on the US keyboard, and some applications actually demands something like "Ctrl" + "Shift" + "=" to zoom in.)
-
Nope, it doesn't work more often than it does it seems. Not sure what I did and it worked fine a few times.
Just updated Vivaldi on my work machine as well and it was the first thing I checked.

Go to Settings > Appearance, and check "Use buttons in Range Control". Then rejoice!
-
The mac build looks quite broken: some parts are extremely slow (e.g. typing in the address field and waiting for completions), while rendering seems not affected. As noted by others, native notifications are not shown, only (ugly) chrome style notifications.
-
Hm, works nicely for me with and without UBlock, could you try with a fresh profile with UBlock?
-
<- rejoicing…
Opera went from accurate plus/minus buttons to pointless stupid slider and I never understood why! Now, finally, Vivaldi does another UI the "right way" instead of "the same as the others".

Just stubled across the same issue…

Don't mouse gestures work at all on a track pad?
