Snapshot 1.3.519.25 - Color picker for themes and more…
-
Hey Marcelo, are you using snapshots or stable version of Vivaldi? If stable, please download snapshot version so that you get future updates.
-
Hello there. I'm using the snapshot version 1.3.519.23 dev 64bit. I have the repository "http://repo.vivaldi.com/snapshot/deb/" configured on my system, and I notice the new version isn't there
-
Now it's more active, with the error appearing on Facebook ones (stopping from nothing) and Youtube ones embedded on sites… Please, fix this...
-
Vivadi users:
" Attention we are suspending further snapshots until all that are holding their breath ARE DEAD…so please die soon??!!!!!
Joke people JOKE!!!!
-
Good one! I hope tomorrow. The team is obviously having some issues wrapping up this snapshot since they wanted to release one last week but it wasn't ready. Maybe some good stuff or a very tenacious bug.
-
Thanks for that, Dovelove. It has now (almost a week ago, i.e. soon after your message) been removed. Cheers, Harry
-
Interesting. There isn't any version 1.3.519.23. The version before this one is version 501. I wonder if you somehow got a version that was added to the repo before this was finalized.

Win 7 64 Bit, 32 Viv
Albine ( Blur) added or reWrote an Extension I installed it and it works WAS NOT a Vivaldi problem apparently, so sorry.
-
Hi. Version 1.3.519.23 can be found here: http://repo.vivaldi.com/snapshot/deb/pool/main/
-
I guess that's in reference to some post up this massive thread, but since posts from the Vivaldi team aren't color-coded (if only there was some technology to make such a thing possible), it would take ages to find.
Two builds since May might also mean that there's just a new cadence from here on. Once every 3-4 weeks. Or, because summer.
-
So apparently no .25 was ever released for deb. given there is only a 2-step difference between the builds, they are probably identical or nearly so.
-
Indeed. I thought every new release would be available for all platforms, for "sync" purposes, even if the release was to fix something related to just one platform.
-
The Soccer UEFA page answers some of these questions. Ayespy said they have a MAJOR issue that was very hard to fix " I can see what they're working on, and that it's a knotty problem".
-
Yeah. The version numbers are usually in sync between platforms, but not necessarily.
-
I just noticed that this build of Vivaldi has an Insert Note option in the context menu when I right-click in a form field. I was surprised, since I can't find any mention of it in any of the changelogs. Regardless, it is certainly a step in the right direction, and it made me quite happy to see it (even if it isn't quite usable yet, since it doesn't sort my notes in folders like in the Notes panel).
-
Wow! It's a surprise indeed for me too!
Despite to be a feature that I really wanted to be implemented, since I was a heavy user of it in Opera, never noted also… Thanks for sharing. It's a very handy feature.
-
When can we expect some really important and already announced features like Vivaldi email client?
-
You may expect really important and already announced features like email client (and sync, and drag-and-drop tabs between windows) when they are ready. Developers are working hammer and tongs on these, but no date can be predicted.
For instance, I am using the email client in its current state. It is not ready for public consumption. It is a huge and complex project equivalent in scope and scale to a web browser, and has a team of four working on it (used to be a team of two). It will be rolled out when it's ready for prime time.
