Ready to make your own mouse gestures? Now you can with Vivaldi 1.2
-
Congratulations!!!! Felicitaciones por hacer el mejor navegador.
We are wainting for e-mail client inside Vivaldi & more options of customisation for the panel (the panel is great!)
Vivaldi is the best browser by far. Thanks for the great work!!!
-
It just struck me how good it feels to have a browser whose version number increases logically. Using Google nomenclature we would already be up to Vivaldi 3 or 4.
-
What do you mean with "really stable"?
If you installed stable build from vivaldi.com, you will always get updates from stable channel and this won't make you "tester". -
this is a good idea for future and more organized
-
Please make the [Strg] + [F11]-Mode a per-window setting. I have tabs on the side. Sometimes I want a specific website (pypMyAdmin for example) to act as a stand-alone application so I'd like to put it in a separate Vivaldi window and hide Vivaldis UI there (especially the tab bar consumes too much space). When hiding the Vivaldi-UI in that phpMyAdmin-window it also gets disabled in my main Vivaldi window. I don't like that.
Anyway: Great work, guys!
-
great ideas, mainly the first ones
-
true, the UI is laggy still when you have a lot of tabs. On Opera you don't suffer much with it, just when it was on old Opera
-
Great release guys, gestures are finally usable!
Yup I would also love to eventually see scroll related mouse gestures added too like Scroll to Top, Scroll to Bottom, Scroll Left-Most and Scroll Right-Most.

ruario i am with that problem since the "clearer download" build, I had to use the previous one till now. I cant add none bookmark. This was reported on bug wizard. The las buid had thar problem. I dunno if the Vivaldi or some Profile file, but on the build I am it's ok and working

Thank you guys! Great job!
I have a bug list and a features list that I would like them to be added when possible.Bug list:
1 - Added search engines have blank favicon (VB-16186).
Example: http://i.imgur.com/er7vOxI.gif2 - Facebook videos buffering is very slow (VB-17751).
Comparison between Vivaldi, Opera and Firefox: http://i.imgur.com/WLNcdgn.gif3 - The progress bar is not properly working (VB-17752).
It is not working after opening a link on Speed Dial (it has already fixed) and when returning to a tab that is loading a page.
Example: http://i.imgur.com/pOdiAML.gif4 - The tab's thumbnails only capture the first screen. They should be updated at each changing tab or every time you hover over the tab.
5 - Many extensions to download specific types of files are not working, as Video DownloadHelper, Batch Fatkun, Image Downloader, FBDown Video Downloader etc. They can not find or save the files.
Desired features list:
6 - Add an option to make Panel overlap a page instead of shifting it.
7 - Add any possibility of selecting the image preview page and a thumbnail based in text to Speed Dial.
8 - Add download speed when downloading files. And likewise also some form of signaling the download is complete.
9 - Add a feature to arrange the extensions icons, as it is in Chrome, dragging the icon to either side.Sorry about my English and if it was not clear.

A big thank you!
Otherwise, Vivaldi gobbled up the hidden taskbar yet again!
And a form filler would be nice. -
UI font is a mess. I hope you fix it by version 1.3.
If I knew it would happen I wouldn't updateSuccessfully downgraded to 1.1. -
Congrats on the new release! Now, please, will you work on the Speed Dial? Stock images, icons, more columns, better management options, etc.
Also, I wanted to say that I just made the switch from HD to SSD, and all the sluggishness of Vivaldi I had been feeling before is gone! My old HD (an 80GB HD bought back in 2007) was hindering down the entire pc, so now I'll be able to give more precise reports on bad performance and bugs!

Nifty feature, but completely useless: Two or more stroke mouse gestures get mis-detected way too often (like "Close Tab" being interpreted "New Tab").
Still only Opera (old one and new one) gets it right all the time.
-
Zoom scaleable with moving a mouse wheel will be the best.
-
You may have vision issue, but other users do not, so please don't use large text to get attention. The zoom already is scalable using the mouse wheel. Hold down the Ctrl key. It can also be used to scroll tabs if you enable that in Settings, Tabs, Tab Features, Switch tabs by scrolling.
-
Another stable release, Congratulations Vivaldi team
-
Editable mouse gestures is far from useless, but it is buggy; that much I will grant you. I have already submitted a bug report for this. Other gestures are also misinterpreted.
(VB-17849) Gesture Up Detaches Tab
-
Developer Tools shortcut opening in Elements tab instead of Console. Please fix this bug.

Mostly agree with your wishlist, especially history iin the sidebar.
You can already make the side panel overlap the page content with a custom CSS tweak as described here by another user https://vivaldi.net/en-US/teamblog/117-snapshot-1-2-490-3-clearer-download-progress#!/ccomment-comment=17955
