Search suggestions sill don't work for Google and Yahoo :-\

Thanks for your testing and giving us more info. It will help the devs tremendously !!!

Leaving a comment after hibernating for 2 months :). Thanks for all the updates
I have two feature requests:
1. Please include the docking option for the dev tools (this is probably a redesign, not just an option :P)
2. I keep my dev, test and stage env open at the same time and don't want to make an accidental update on the wrong env (which I did multiple times :P). It would be great if I could assign a color to the tab based on the url. -
sounds about right to me

Thanks. It's not an easy bug to track though, since g-sync is very unpredictive. It doesn't always reduce the framerate immediately after you press F11. It does it most of the time, but not always. Sometimes it takes a while for it to recognize that it's in fullscreen. Don't know what's happening there. So you have to wait at least 10-15 seconds and move your mouse around a little bit to be sure that it still works.
It's also not easy to even recognize if it's in g-sync or not. You may be able to recognize, that the mouse movement are about to get choppy but if you want to be sure you have to check your monitors refreshrate in the OSD of your monitor. Thankfully mine has a debug function that displays it constantly during testing as bar-graph.
Don't know if there are any software-tools around that are telling you if you are in g-sync or not. -
regression since 1.1 (like 3 builds old issue – regression)
earlier reported as:
(VB-12881) [regression] text area indicator do not appears (time to time)
so just re-open the issue to prevent me reporting it again… -
These bugs are still present. Remember, that they are related with default page zoom level. If it is set to 100% everything is ok. Try 120%.

Hello, gentlemen at Vivaldi, I wonder if you have worked on this issue which I posted on reddit a while ago yet. https://www.reddit.com/r/vivaldibrowser/comments/4kwr2l/vivaldi_have_a_really_bad_lag_when_one_tries/ Its here with all the details and rants that I pour out just to express how much I love Vivaldi and want it to be better. Pls check it out.

Hi guys,
great work!But I've got a problem.
I use an extension (Signal) with NO button-interface, but how to start it up?
I found out, that I can launch it via the appstore, but that's a little inconvenient.
The shortcut generated by vivaldi contains only the vivaldi.exe, so I only get a new browser window. Is there any cli parameter to start extensions?
An could you please add a launch-button to the extension-page, like the one in the appstore. Thanks
Edit:
Tested with current build (fresh install) on Win7 64bit -
Small problem with this version on my computer : several instances of vivaldi remain active in my task manager process. After a while, it's impossible to open Vivaldi with its usual appearance. It opens in a reduce window and the welcome page becomes "Speed dial" instead of the default page I've chosen.

you can save as single file html (mht) enabling a chrome flag without using any extension (I think should be on by default)
-
still no middle click on bookmark bar folders here. (doesn't open bookmarks in it)
-
That would be really really really interesting to see, very excited about it!
Especially since the current Chrome extension in the webstore that provides that functionality doesn't seem to work with Vivaldi -
Hey that is pretty interesting Hadden89. How do you do that? Could you elaborate please?
-
I do find it annoying that if I close a tab in error, CTRL-Z to get it back, only to find it doesn't reopen in it's original position, but that set in preferences for new tab opening.
-
Yes, and sometimes Ctrl Z works and sometimes it doesn't.
-
The team hasn't picked it up yet, but I just wanted you to know that some of us testers are already pushing for it (so you don't need to submit a bug report lol)
