On the road again

You can compensate temporarily going: Vivaldi: // downloads
There are both the speed, both the time remaining. Just save it as a bookmark or web panel. -
The only reason I'm still using Chrome is because of its sync feature.
-
you can install adblock , just search it on google on how to do it.
-
Suggestion - add menus for extension's buttons - for example in Chrome http://c2n.me/3xSc3Bx.png, but in Vivaldi I see only "Hide button" options.
-
Can I just say how much I love the Vivaldi team? They added a small little setting for what may have been a bug but which I considered a feature. They are amazing! Now we can open bookmarks on nickname match again!
-
I see it when navigating from the speed dial page using a bookmark shortcut.

A little off topic but also not… I'll be glad when Viv has an android mobile version.
I am SO fed up with Google going the route of Apple and closing off the phone. They make it terribly difficult if you don't want to deal with Google as Apple forces one to do.
The reason I got an Android was because of independence..... got an new phone cause Android 6 (MM buzzword) broke ALL my programs. I like having programs ( apps as new buzzword) locally in case of problems I can get them and install easily. Our "cloud" (buzzword) is unreachable sometimes. -
everything was good….........
small request improve the start up speed..
as per startp up speed vivaldi lagging behind each and every browser in the market -
Your system is mostly likely than not infected. Vivaldi has nothing to do with it.

Maybe that's what he really sounds like

Just installed Vivaldi wish I would found sooner I will never go back to any of the other browsers

They were using a laptop instead of a real video camera and a mike.

That was a fascinating talk yesterday. As I said to my boss: "he turned a mediocre question into a good answer" (my boss agreed).
Thanks again Jon for your endless answers to our endless questions !

well, a estimation of DLspeed is certainly not a matter of vital importance, but nice to have.
On the other side I'm using FF for downloads bigger than maybe 30-40 MB.
This is because there are many people who don't have access to a fast broadband connection, and the download feature in vivaldi still needs some "love".
After downloading some 500 MB of a linux distribution - which sadly means about half a day round here - a download in vivaldi simply stopped and couldn't be resumed.
Well, maybe now you understand what people are complaining about. -
Hoping for some new bells and whistles before the weekend.

Yeah, there are so many problems with the latest snapshot that I can't wait for the next one to hopefully fix them all. I can't delete bookmarks. If I try, the browser force closes/crashes. Many links aren't opening up next to the tab sometimes, and I have it set to open new links next to current. Clone tabs in background keyboard shortcut doesn't work, there are just many oddities with this snapshot I'm hoping to get fixed in the next one.

Tomorrow, tomorrow …. La la la tomorrow ...

Change of topic - cpu usage
Is there a way to find out the cpu usage per window or tab? (similar to "opera:cpu").
The number of vivaldi processes I see (W7, 64 Bit), causes my ventilator to run most of the time

Open Vivaldi's task manager. From the tools menu, quick commands or Shift+Esc.
