No time to rest. Vivaldi 1.1 is here with enhanced tab handling, better hibernation and more!

I should have mentioned both are W10 64bit.
-
I have three comments
first : why it's not allow to sign in to chrome or firefox for saving bookmarks and history
second :why I am n't able to download chrome apps
third : I found it not compatible with twitter when I am trying to get latest tweets -
Actually it is a Fuel Injector, good guess in the thousands of parts it could be….  That sure makes sense if you know the code...HA!
-
Perhaps it's time to clean your profile.
-
A fule injector (snort) yes, that would ruin your engine and your day; still need to not run over trees or you'll bust up your half-million-dollar Cat.
-
Not getting any even any e-mails even though the post count is going up. Am trying again with a different address. Sorry.
-
Yes I did goof AGAIN, I see what he's talking about now.
-
How, with cleaning software or?

Hey, Vivaldi on Linux is great! I just switched from Chromium because Vivaldi is sooo much better!
My only grief is that Xmarks crashes Vivaldi badly, whenever I try to configure the plugin.
And please, I know this is the way Chromium works but would it be possible to restore the behavior that the browser asks if you want to open or download a file, instead of always downloading?
Thank you! -
Hi, please show me speed in KB/s || MB/s and tell me the estimated time for downloads!!!! Biggest feature that is missing I do not know how you don't put that in!!!!
-
Good!

VB-17033 Blank Thumbnail on Adding vivaldi://flags/ Speed Dial
Steps to reproduce:
1. Add a Speed Dial
2. Enter vivaldi://flags/ as the Bookmark AddressReloading the speed dial does not help. The speed dial goes to the correct page.
-
Because it is not nearly as important at the basic structure of the browser, which is not finished yet. Do a little math in your head. If you know how much of the download has finished in 10 seconds, or in 30 seconds, you know how long it will take.
-
Absolutely not. Re-name your Default folder. Its location is state in your help/about page.
-
You expect them to do math…don't need to, the phone thinks for them .
No I've been reading how people are forgetting more because they don't exercise their minds.
-
Just go to settings -> downloads and then you probably marked the "always save in default-folder". Just unmark it.
I get a prompt every time, if I want to open or save the file. -
You're right HanZ! Actually, Vivaldi does let me open a document instead of downloading it, unlike Chrome/Chromium.
Unfortunately, Vivaldi keeps the bad habit of downloading the document to my download folder when I choose to open it. It should just download it to the temp folder, where it will be taken care by the OS' policy for cleaning out temporary files. -
If I open a link to a Word application (e.g. a job description) Vivaldi STILL saves it to the Downloads dir instead of the temp dir.
My Downloads dir is now full of crap temp files like jnlp, citrix.ica, Word, Excel and PDF files that I don't want an only looked at temporarily. Why are these temp files not saved to the temp dir before opening????
-
Yes, that's exactly my complaint too! Files that I choose to open (instead of download) should be downloaded to the temp dir, not the download dir.
-
I want you to add an ability that allows to set separate color / wallpaper to each speed dial.
