Wow! What a great surprise for the weekend – thank you!

The upgrade utility prompted, downloaded and installed the new Snapshot and after a couple of hours there are no gigantic problems.

The caret browse feature still opens two Tabs when I select a link: most recently closed Tab and the current selected link. It makes caret browsing practically unusable for me.

Hello, first of all, thank you for this browser!
I'm still using Opera 12 and I'm slowly moving to Vivaldi.
The major bug, at the moment, seems that I'm not able to edit bookmarks. I can edit the URLs but not their name or desciption. Evan with folders, I can edit them at the creation, but once they are saved they can't be edited. Win7 64bit + (Snapshot 1.1.453.43 - Vivaldi 1.1RC2) 32bit

Where are you trying to edit them? Bookmark Bar? Bookmark Panel? Bookmark Manager? What do you do to attempt to edit them?

Do you mean "edit>undo" fails to open last closed tab? That 's verified. Ctrl+Z does open last closed tab, and of course so does the trashcan.

yeah, it's called undo in the menu and "Reopen Closed Tab" under shortcuts…

Awesome update. It fixed the G-Sync bug i had for some time now. Don't know if you changed something or if it was the new chromium version which fixed it but the bug is gone now and my screen is updating with it's maximum refresh rate again.
Thank God. This would have been a bug that would have made me stop using Vivaldi all together. So glad i didn't have to.

EDIT: Damnit. Turns out, that the problem still exist. It takes some time for the monitor to lower the refresh rate.

Thanks Vivaldi Team for the weekend surprise! .-) I like Vivaldi really and suggest every time to my friends and colleagues to use it.

But some MAJOR bugs, are still alive or comes and goes

1. VB-10368 Tab history is limited to 6 webpages after restart
When will this be fixed? This is my biggest problem and all my reports fall on deaf ears.

2. VB-13714 Wrong Speed Dial favicon after Vivaldi starts
When Vivaldi has started, all (empty) tabs with speed dial shown the round world favicon. Only when a speed dial tab is activated the favicion is changed to the 9 dot speed dial favicon!

3. VB-12547 Find in Page cannot be closed - It's still alive!
Open a new tab and browse to a webpage you want. Activate Find in Page and search for a word. Then go back till speed dial is shown again and try to close find in Page. It doesn't work.

4. Find in Page and search in a pdf file. The counter will not changed, when moving between the findings, 1 of 5, the 1 doesn't changed. I'm sure this was reported by an other user

5. The refresh button and F5 does not work on some pages. I can reproduce this in our WhatsUp Gold monitoring tool.

6. The Windows Taskline is sometimes unusable. I can not reproduce it. It comes and goes with a snapshot. Sometime when a VPN connection is active.

7. VB-15554 Download from Jasper reports does not work
You can close this Bug Report, it works again, hopefully for ever

Some Major Features are waiting to be released:

1. VB-13508 Add sort tabs within stacked tabs

2. VB-13511 Add Session Manager to Panel

3. VB-13510 toggle Ctrl-f does not close the search (but Esc works)

4. safe as bookmark, sub folder should be indented from the main folder

5. history for Find in Page

What kind of flickering? Do you have a Freesync or G-Sync monitor by any chance? Maybe that's your problem, because that's the reason why my browser is flickering. Have you checked the update rate of your monitor?

Ctrl Z also fails to reopen the last closed tab when used on the Speed Dial page.

No, I don't have freesync or G-sync. I only have this problem when using vivaldi, other browsers like google chrome don't have this problem.
my monitor is 60hz and I didn't have any problem with it. if it was monitor's problem i would have this problem for my whole desktop and every application.(sorry for bad english)

It still could have been a browser problem. It is for me at least. G-Sync works fine in Opera, Firefox and Edge but not when i use Vivaldi. It somehow draws stuff differently and the driver doesn't update the monitor anymore.
That's at least my problem. I thought maybe you had a similar issue, but apparently that's not the case.
Right now i'm back to Opera because of this.
