Snapshot 1.1.453.6 - Further tab closing options, improved dark UI and more import options
-
Copying a later stable over a snapshot should be fine unless explicitly noted otherwise.
You can of course backup your user profile folder to a safe place and just try to install an older version over the newer.
- If you don't notice side effects, then you are probably fine - but no warranty, of course. If you do such things you do it on your own risk.
- If it has side effects: Re-install the newer version again and replace the user profile with the saved copy.
You can find the path to your user profile on vivaldi://about/
PS: Occasional backups of that folder in a safe location (e.g. an external HDD) is always a good idea because it can help preventing data loss in general

Please get me out of this doubt!
64-bit Vivaldi is no longer experimentel, already stable? So I can desisntalar the 32-bit version and install the 64-bit without any problems?Brasil

I don't think you will find many in the industry who like it. It is a pain to work with.
Sounds like Windows 10. I still like Java though and would like to be able to run it in my browser. Industry be damned.
I've been using Opera 12 along with Vivaldi throughout the beta, guess I'll just have to give up on replacing it with V until AniDB and some other sites figure out how to scan files on my computer through my browser without Java.

Translate into Portuguese the collar and go in the tab context menu.

Confirmed here. Win 10 x64. I can actually see the desired URL for a milisecond after selecting the opened tab but it disappears right away.

Não é possÃvel traduzir essa linha para nenhum idioma, de momento, mas esperamos que esteja resolvido no futuro.
(That string can't be translated into any language at the moment, but it will hopefully be fixed in the future.)

Lots of fixes! I especially appreciate being able to work with the Pocket extension again, it was somehow annoying to use the bookmarklet all the time (it is slower than the extension).
Also, when I log in in the LastPass extension, it takes over 10 seconds to log in and bring me to my vault, whereas in previous versions of the browser it took only 1 or 2 seconds. I would love to see that fixed
Other than that, awesome improvements, awesome browser!

i would love to have that question answered as well.

The first 3. option is wonderful, I would very much enjoy using it. +1

Cheers for fixing the focus stealing bug. Big pain relieve here.

Thanks.
My attempt to Reply to Ruari ended up below…hopefully this one will fall under your post.
Eventually will migrate to the 64 bit version which they seem to be moving forward (no longer says 'experimental').
I will be interested to see how smoothly people find that transition when it goes fully stable. -
Confirming W10 x64 same thing, right clicking puts in URL but does not enter it. You have to manually hit enter to go to the page.

Two links to Vivaldi got pinned to my taskbar after clean instalation.
Vivaldi crashed when I tried to save log-in information on https://www.horizon.tv/cs_cz/live-channels.html

Same here. Win7 x32.

Are you on gnu/linux?

Three most annoying bugs from previous build(s) appear to be fixed. Good job guys, really nice build!

First time commentor here. I love where the project is heading, but was wondering if there are any plans to make the Web Developer/Inspector panel dockable at the bottom of the window?
As it is now, the dev tools are pretty unusable in my workflow and many of my team members workflow as well. I am hoping to make Vivaldi my default browser at some point, but just can't make the jump from Chrome until this change is made. My screen real estate is just to important.
Pretty, pretty please fix this? Thanks for all of the hard work!

Predict. What can it be? ^^
