Snapshot 1.0.430.3 - Mouse gestures for Fast Forward and Rewind
-
Hmm, strange. I'm using Viv x64 (on Win 7). Maybe it's that.
-
Happend to me as well. I had a different UI Language (german) -> Switching to english (&reload Browser) brought the entry, it was still there after switching back to german
-
Smooth scrolling on a long web page has a weir ripple effects when scrolling down. Chrome and Edge seem working fine.
-
There is one bug with the address bar on W10-64; V32 which is the worst I have ever seen since browsers were born and it is driving me crazy. When I am doing development I have to submit a form on my local server like a billion times and reload (either by shortcut key, or clicking on a button or even copy and using "paste and go") does not work. It is the most annoying bug I have ever seen in a browser. Not sure why it has gone undetected for so long.

I don't think this is related to Linux. I use Win7 here, and UI wise, both Chromium and Opera are much faster than Vivaldi on my laptop. IE and Firefox is faster too.
Anyway, the good thing is that it's getting better each version. I hope someday Vivaldi's UI performance gets as fast as Chrome's.

We can't reproduce this bug. Would you please file a bug report here vivaldi.com/bugreport so we can look into it? Thanks!
-
You're most welcome! It's already possible to close a tab when right clicking on it (check the last three options at the bottom of the list)
-
Hard to reproduce this issue with so little information. Would you please help us further by filing a bug report here: vivaldi.com/bugreport ? Thanks in advance for helping us further!
-
Thanks for sharing all these great insights! Pages can be zoomed up to 300% when using the zoom bar at the right bottom of the window. Also it is possible to search in settings (see the field on the top left above all the settings sections). We hope it helps
-
Sorry for the trouble! Are you using Citrix app from chrome web store?
-
So sorry for the trouble. We're looking into it!

@kisunssi
I came across this behavior not only when opening private windows but in every tab when I opened it and started to type immediately.
The reason why I never reported this was because this only happened on my heavy underpowered netbook - and when I waited a few second before typing this didn't happen any longer so it thought that the process for the new tab have to start completely first.
So maybe this is what is happening when you open a private window - does this appear when you open a window and wait a bit before you start typing? -
So sorry for the trouble. We're looking into it. Please look for VB-14498 in future snapshots.
-
Oh no!!! Sorry for the trouble! Please file a bug report so we can look into it asap:

after I updated to this version, at least one setting was changed without my intervention: my Vivaldi button disappeared and the menu bar reappeared.
-
I know it's been - or maybe still is holiday in Europe - but I'm starting to hope Vivaldi gives us a present this week.
-
Done. Thank you!

Just installed Viv 1.0.430.3 64-Bit on an Open Suse Leap 42.0 64-Bit system.
And now I can't find the option to change the language in Viv.
Normaley this option is placed in the settings section "startup" but there are only "set viv as standard browser" "Homepage" and "Startup with" options but now language. Did you moved this ?
A search inside the settings wasn't helpful either.Any guesses?

Just to make it clear. The limit is there now because some guard had to added to prevent out of control situations. I do not think we will get a better way of handling this before 1.0 but surely we will later.
-
We're working on it and will be fixed soon.
