Snapshot 1.0.330.3 - Trash folder for bookmarks and notes, plus panel hiding

Could be due to Chromium 47, but soundcloud freezes Vivaldi a lot when trying to play music. Hasn't happened in past snapshots. I have to close the browser as I'm unable to clock on anything in it when it freezes.

Oh, and youtube doesn't work, either. I already restarted my computer and restarted Vivaldi, too. Can somebody tell me how to clean-install Vivaldi? (on Mac)

Sessions is a feature I'm keenly looking forward to and Jon said it will appear at some point. The actual Opera implementation always felt a bit half baked though, and I hope when we get it will be an improved interface, with some feedback from us incorporated
But I love it in Opera 12, and desperately want to see it in Viv.

Agreed. I never used Speed Dial much, even in Opera, but I tried this the other day and was shocked how convoluted it was. It really should not require copy/pasting URLs, etc. I assumed there ought to be a simple single click to "speed dial this page" like bookmarking, but there is none.
Really needs looking at, this.

If you middle-click or ctrl+click a link in Vivaldi, it will always open in the background. If you right-click a link in Vivaldi, if offers you to option to open in background. There may be a time when you might be able to select an option in settings to reverse where the default opens, but not right away, I don't think. Jon is trying to collect all the old Opera users, and we were always used to having a new tab open with focus. It really irritates me that other browsers won't let me do that. I "open in new tab" and then have to go hunting for where the hell that tab appeared.

If you don't mind using an extension until session management is built in to Vivaldi, Session Buddy seems to be quite usable and useful.

I'm suspecting that is hardware related. I suspect Nvidia is the culprit. Do you have a Nvidia video card?

Bug: I can not scale+ the page with CTRL+ (or simle +). Scale- with CTRL- works greate.

back to 1.0.330.3, did a apt-get purge on the previous version, freed a lot of memory on the disk (there wasn't much left), reinstalled 330.3 - no crashes so far

Same bug for me. linux mint 64 Cinnamon. I tried both with and without shift.
Normally I use single key 9 and 0 for zoom and those still work. -
Thanks for the kind offer, the thing is I don't use Vivaldi on a daily basis mainly because of these problems (previews of tabs in & out of stacks and ads in thumbnails) so that workaround isn't of any use to me. I will keep waiting until its fixed. Also I don't check every post here and in the blog in general because of the commenting system, so I'm not in a position to know if its known or not, so the best I can do is reporting it.

It's impossible to import data and especially passwords from Firefox. Tried it in earliar snapshots and now. Passwords are missing. Windows OS

Okay, I've removed the user configuration, which I think is ~/Library/Application\ Support/Vivaldi/ , uninstalled Vivaldi from the system, downloaded the binary from this page, installed it, and invoked it. All my configurations seem to have gone and so I think Vivaldi has been "factory-reset". None of the Google services worked. I restarted my computer. Still no go. In the mean while, the Google services work on other browsers.
I guess the next step is wireshark? If only I had the time . . .

Nope, just the trusty Intel HD Graphics that came with the 4th gen i5. It's been this way. ever since the switch to Chromium 47 I think.

Few suggestions guys:
1. A reader mode in the page actions, something similar to what FF has. This is one of the most useful features I came across on a browser. :!:
2. Option to disable form fill and password saving :?:
3. And option to clear data on exit (history, cache, etc.) :?:
4. Bookmarks export :!: -
It would be great if users can customize the mouse gestures… i have in my old opera 12 a gesture which i can minimize the opera browser and not only the tab.

last updates freeze tabs when no open for some time. the only way to make vivaldi working is to restart it. version for windows, run on win7
