Snapshot 1.0.330.3 - Trash folder for bookmarks and notes, plus panel hiding
-
Also this update broke single-key keyboard shortcuts.

First, thanks a lot for all the good job that you are doing for this wonderful browser.
I have only a wish : I'm a little bit disabled and I mainly use the touchpad of my laptop. I would like to have a "Close Tab" in the right click of the page.
Thanks in advance to have this new feature. -
I am not sure if it's an issue with Vivaldi, but when I open this (flash based) video in fullscreen mode, the right click dropdown menu is apparently fixed to wherever I right click on my screen before I open the video fullscreen.
Furthermore, the right click dropdown menu in YouTube videos appears to alternate between the default (HTML5?) dropdown menu, and YouTube's own dropdown menu, whenever I right click the screen. I am not sure if this is intended or not.

Regression n.2
new background tabs (ctrl+LMB etc…) are not active so if I open an YT video in a new background tab it does NOT start to play... -
It's a Chromium issue : going from 46 to 47, you'll see the same behaviour.
-
On one hand, I have dynamic search suggestions disabled but the Bookmark Bar stays where it should for me however I have the window and it has a little chevron in the right-hand end of the bar to let me see a drop down list with more Bookmarks:

On the gripping hand, UI-Scaling still cuts off the popup windows for Extensions like uBlock, LastPass, Xmarks, and Ghostery. VB-10397

Better hurry up! Update only works for a couple hours…
-
One tab crashed, I had to close it with X since it would not show the contents anymore.
I now have two working tabs open but in the Window toolbar menu under Go Fullscreen, I see three tab infos, both working ones and the one that I closed. Clicking on the closed one makes the background window black and puts the URL into the address bar.
I can move away from this by clicking on either one of the working tabs.First time this happens. Running W7 x86

Another issue with YouTube videos: When I go fullscreen and wait, the cursor doesn't disappear, like it does in other browsers.
-
Another annoying thing for a couple of versions is the fact, that speed dial icons remain black for quite a while. They eventually show up when clicking on one and then opening a new tab with the display of the speed dial icons.
Filling in username/PW quite often takes a very long time or requires a restart of Vivaldi. In the later case, it works immediately.
Happens on all my set-ups with Vivaldi x86 from W7 x86 2 GB RAM to W8.1 16GB RAM. -
Hidden buttons reappeared after a restart for me too.
I think we need a proper sig' file in Vivaldi.

They give up!

Thanks for the update
Biggest issue i can think off is I can't make youtube videos go to fullscreen from the site they are embedded on.

BUG: When typing a url in QC and pressing enter, most of the time it opens on the current tab rather than opening a new one.
BUG: Going fullscreen on a YouTube video within facebook makes the browser go fullscreen as well. -
Same for me.
The W key doesn't invoke the orange caret browsing cursor and the Plus and Minus keys don't work, have to use Ctrl-+ and Ctrl– to change the page zoom.

Thanks! And for the time being, I totally give up on trying to imagine the development pattern employed by the Vivaldi team. I would never in a million years have envisioned a new Chromium engine inserted beneath a Beta. It defies the very definition of Beta. Not that I'm complaining, mind you. It just took me completely by surprise. I guess ANY changes, prior to final release, are fair game. And that's fine with me.
-
Now one thing left, give us an option to disable auto complete the URL in address bar, show the suggestion in the drop down instead.
-
It's an Alpha Beta.
-
Yayyyyyy!
Thank you. Trash can! Browser just feels smoother too.
