Snapshot 1.0.330.3 - Trash folder for bookmarks and notes, plus panel hiding
-
BUG: Browser crashes when selecting the notes trash folder then clicking on either the new notes or new folder buttons. VB-10964
- Win10x64/Vivaldix64
-
Never gonna happen!

Can you move clear all last closed tabs to the top of the list? Now it's a little awkward.
-
Opening new Tabs in the background makes empty Tabs that don't finish or fill when selected:-

Being worked on…

As we mentioned before, beta doesn't even necessarily mean 100% feature complete. So let yourself get surprised every now and then.
-
I just discovered that Vivaldi cant open adf.ly links
-
have a brand new installation Vx64 (all users) and I can't delete any bookmarks. It jumps to trashfolder but nothing else happens. It doesn't matter, if I do it in the panel or bookmark manager
can anyone confirm? Win7x64 -
Deleted. Duplicate post.

Also this update broke single-key keyboard shortcuts.
Confirmed. I set the key / to start find in page alongside Ctrl+f, but the / key now does nothing when it worked before. I went to where to edit keyboard commands in Settings, finding that whenever I edit a keyboard command and replace it with one that has a single key, it comes out as blank.
Vivaldi 32-bit running on Windows 8.1 64-bit.

Import data makes Vivaldi crash.
-
Whoa! Yes it sure does crash.
At least it crashes "gracefully" now. All the Vivaldi processes go away and don't have to be terminated before you can restart the browser.

Noooooooooo !
I missed the deadline….
-
Works perfectly here. When you say "it" jumps to trashfolder, what is the "it" you speak of? Do you mean the deleted bookmark? Browser focus? What is jumping? What interface are you attempting this in? Panel? Bookmarks manager? What?

Nevertheless, I'm so happy they decided to include Chromium 47 in the browser! I see that the development channel doesn't mean they can't change or update the Chromium version. The version of Chromium the channel can use is not written in stone until it is Stable I guess.
Now, that being said, I'm almost totally satisfied with version 1.0 of Vivaldi! Just needs more bugfixing and fix those duplicate bookmarks that keep popping up every time I download a snapshot!

Gotta say . . . I'm so happy that the version of Chromium was updated!
It actually makes the entire browser much better!
I'm almost completely satisfied with how version 1.0 will end up.
Only a few fixes needed for me. Every time I download a new snapshot, bookmarks folders get duplicated. It duplicated for me many times, and I had to delete the duplicated many times. It didn't work. I eventually had to drag them into the trash and trick it into being deleted in the trash. Eventually I had the ability to scroll down a lot but it was totally empty. Eventually I dragged everything into the trash, deleted it all, and it was fine. But that was weird and something I would like fixed for the next snapshot.
That, and opening new tabs next to the active one! Big one for me.
Once that's done, it's more a matter of bugfixing and polishing up the features and UI, and we're ready for Stable baby!!!

Same issue with missing panels here as well. Also, when using the horizontal menu, View has "Show panel" selected when in fact it is not showing. It has been like that for as long as I can remember.

Totally weird. Have never seen or heard of anything like this. Of course in order to fix it, Vivaldi would first have to duplicate it, which may be a problem, since from the data I've seen so far, yours may be the only machine in the world that has ever done it.

Hardly. Even Jon is using the Vivaldi built-in email client, which he has paid multiple personnel for over a year, to produce. Do you imagine he will "give up" on the client he uses daily? Don't think so.

still does not work search on address bar. Win 10 x64, Vivaldi 1.0.330.3 (Beta) (64 бит)
