Good job, guys!

As a suggestion how bout a 'Mouse Gesture' quick scroll up down feature
-
In my usage, being able to configure the Speed Dial - rows, cols, thumbnail size - has been one of the three most important features of Opera 12. Its absence has been a disqualifier for Opera whatever-it-is-now and remains one for Vivaldi. So yes, a Speed Dial revolution is in order.
Btw, the other two key O12 features for me are…
- user option tab bar placement (check)
- address bar modification, allowing the addition of icons for other functions, including being able to switch browsers for scalable printing (still unchecked) - or have scalable printing included (unchecked)
-
the task bar in windows does not appear when you take the cursor to the bottom of the screen. I remember this happening with opera but it got sorted. Minor irritation. moving over to vivaldi as the new family browser.

Win 7 64 bit, 8 Gig, 32 Viv
I am going to bug out of this as fast as I can cause I don't know if it will help or not. But WOW in task Manager Viv.
I am using 32 to 38% of my CPU process ID 2700
app:vivaldi
Background page :vialdiVivaldi Browser 10% CPU process ID 1956 **Now after a long time went down to 1%
**
Shockwave Flash 24% GPU process ID 4268 Now after a long time went down to 1%My free memory is fine @ 2719G SEEMS stable
No crashes yet don't know if I will be able to continue with it or not, time will tell. Slow Machine or bloated? Hard to use with so much CPU used when others don't, probably that chrome engine. Chrome sounds like really a bad problem.
Addentum: Just crashed Task Manager went from showing maybe ten lines to full page filled

At starting, text on tabs (page title) are written with strange looks. First some characters are visible, but characters following them are become transparent graduarlly.
I guess that the opacity is defined at start time (not maximized) and is not redefined when window state is changed. -
2 - In the Bookmarks Panel Side add a button to save the tabs in the selected folder, if you can not, go to step 3;
3 - In the button "Add Bookmark", recreate the tree of subfolders Bookmarks to easily locate the folder interested.I'd like to see the tree in Add Bookmark alphabetized according to folder and indented for sub-folders. I'd also love to see auto-complete for typing to find the folder.

Thanks for your response!
maybe it works on *nix
Yes, on Unix (including Mac and Linux), Ctrl+H is quite commonly used as backspace in text-editing contexts. Although there are exceptions, as I mentioned above, usually customization options that make Ctrl+H a backspace are available, in case it's not the default behavior.
only command line applications recognise Ctrl+H
That's not good. Text-editing shortcuts should be as much common as possible over variety of applications on a single platform (Windows in this case). If you use Ctrl+H on your command line, you also want to use it in a text box on your browser, on your word processor, spreadsheet editor, etc., that is, wherever you type text.

Please allow us to disable backspace to navigate backwards in a tab's history. It's so annoying.

Bug: every time I close and then reopen Vivaldi Xmarks extension is disabled and needs to be re-enabled.

Uninstall and then reinstall it, so it should work.

Many thanks. It worked.

Hi guys,
I'm having some issues when I have two (or more) tabs stacked.
Eg. -> 1st tab : Gmail, 2nd tab : Hangouts.
Whenever I'm chatting in Hangouts, special keyboards keys like BackSpace, are being handled by Vivaldi -> instead of erasing a single character, I go back one step in my tab history… Anyone else experienced this ?
My config : ArchLinux, Plasma 5.4.3Keep up the good stuff rollin'

Ok then, thanks for replying !

weird, weird… this bug was occurring almost 1/3 cases when I closed a tab with previous two snapshots.
With this snapshot it's like 1/100 and I even can't be sure that it's still triggered by tab closing.
(I got this bug again 2 times in these 2 days.. until this build it was about 10 times per hour even I tried not to close tabs) -
Your 12.X could be installed in the wrong location for Vivaldi to find it. However, you can still export your 12.X bookmarks to HTML, and Vivaldi will import that.

Confirmed, Win 8.1

My dropdown on the URL bar doesn't work for me - well, it does drop down, and I see addresses, but I can't choose any of them. (I'm using the 64bit version with Win 10.)

Known bug.
