Vivaldi launches its first beta

Thank you for great works!
So I'd want some feature with tabs - order opening tab after active tab and order tab after closing tab. it's may be customize.)
-
I can’t make zoom with mouse: Ctrl + Scroll up/down. Please! I really need this!
-
Just to add an additional 2 cents…
I tried EverSync extension and also this one doesn't work. Going into options just gives me the configuration page without any visible option. Clicking the button in the toolbar also gives me only a small button which does nothing when clicked.
Multi-platform bookmark sharing is really a must for the reasons I explained earlier.
Hopefully someone can find a way to fix this asap.
Thanks. -
Congratulations
-
I've install the extension, but the site will not allow me to log in. Were you having trouble signing in?
-
It's Ctrl+Shift+Scroll for now.
-
It's free. It is not and will not be open source.
-
If you don't like the status bar, you can turn it off in View or in Tools/Settings

Hard to say. Form completion in Opera was a bit of a horse and cart operation. You were very limited in what information you could save for forms. Somehow I don't seem them going back in that direction. There is to some degree and will to a greater degree be form completion in Vivaldi.

Congratulations to this beta release!
I ran into an issue on Netflix:
I can browse the website as usual, but when clicking play for a film Vivaldi says "This web page has a redirect loop (ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECT)"
Could this be related to the Silverlight plugin? (all extensions were disabled for this site. deleting cookies and logging back into Netflix didn't help.)I can use Netflix without any problem in any other major browser on my system.
Win10 x64, Vivaldi 32bit
edit: Apparently Silverlight isn't even listed on Vivaldi's plugin page. So probably the playback issue is related to the "Widevine Content Decryption Module".

The thumbnails that show when the Speed Dial Add button is invoked are very confusing! If I want to add a new thumbnail, why show me a myriad of sites previously opened instead of just the ones that are currently open?? I would think that most users add entries from the current ones, unless they're just copying a URL into the address field.

It's great seeing vivaldi spreading out to the wild and getting more attention. But there is one big thing, why I can't use to Vivaldi:
The minimum auto scroll speed is way too high!
I can't help myself. Opera Link will be soon shut down and I still do not feel comfortable with Vivaldi, so please: Lower this damn speed, or even better; make it configureable -
ALongTime,
I just highlighted and tried it with your Comment but it only added one Note.
Win7 x64 | Vivaldi x64

excellent work Jon and all the Vivaldi guys! I now once again have a browser that fits like a well worn shoe
-
Sorry, but to me it is insane to have more than one Flash on my computer. I simply will not do it, I will not have different plugins on Firefox, Opera 12.17 and Vivaldi. For me really misliking Chromium, this may end my time as Vivaldi fan…
-
I agree on NPAPI. Actually for my bank I uses Vivaldi since they have no support for Opera 12.17, with or without Java as it is not needed anyway.

As a quick question, and if you can answer this Ayespy that would be great.
Now that Beta is out, does this mean that both Beta 1.0 channels and Alpha 2.0 channels will be worked on at the same time? And now that the very first Beta is out and they should also work on Alpha 2.0, do you think the development of Vivaldi should speed up considering all the building blocks of the browser put in place? They have lots of features left to go and lots put in place, but the fact of having built a browser from scratch is done now, will the rest be a faster ride from here on out?
Update: Also, do you know if all bug fixes on the Beta 1/Stable 1 will reflect on the snapshots as well?
-
I know exactly what you mean, it's like the noise that goes away after you break out the tools!
-
Seems my question got deleted somehow. But I have one more question about the development of Vivaldi, and if you read this Ayespy, then see if you can answer it.
So now that Vivaldi Beta is out, will they update the Beta channel and the Alpha 2.0 channel at the same time? And will all updates to the Beta channel reflect in the Alpha as well?
Also, now that the very first Beta is out, now that the very basic building blocks of building the browser from scratch with all of it's very basic features put in place as far as having a browser there at all, will the future development of Vivaldi speed up from here on out?

Muito bom… rápido e atraente
