Snapshot 1.0.303.40 - Beta Candidate with tab and import improvements
-
Just when I thought I was going to be able to watch a series on Netflix, the browser says "Sike!". Other than that, the browser is looking great! Keep up the great work!
-
Kewl! What the hell are you doing up at this hour? Isn't it too early to be working on a Saturday?
-
Ah I see. Well, hopefully they can bring it back at some point in Beta. I love the way Microsoft Edge handles the opening and closing of tab animations.
-
Depends on the software. I have many programs that show the underlines permanently - not only when hovering or pressing Alt - and every other variety too. There seems no fixed rule for that in the real world, some programs don't show them at all, which is a thing I really do not like.
-
This is happening to me too. For the past few snapshots, it has been happening. I am using the 64-bit version on Windows 10 Build 10565.
-
I guess what you are saying is that you want all of the legacy features to return.
Be patient. They already did a lot in the last eight months or so. Give it another six months and we may have most of the features from Old Opera.
-
Yes, and the same is true when you hover and un-hover the speed dial thumbs. They are crispy in the unhovered and (slightly bigger) hovered states, but - only when you move away the mouse - there is a "shrink" animation for the thumbnails, and during that time they look blurry. This basically kills the animation effect, as much as I like it, but it would actually look nicer without the blurred animation.
And: yes: first world problem! -
Bug: When visiting a site that has no favicon the favicon from the last page I was on is kept.
-
Same here! win7 x64,Vx64. btw, switching tabs using mouse wheel on tab works as usual.
-
What he is trying to say has no sense at all, it's kind of delerium ) "what's closed - avialable, all avialable - closed. enter. leave your trace. exit. come back."
-
Confirmed for like a year !
Since the first version of Vivaldi…
-
Same here, now on 10576 and still not possible to check for and install updates via the menu.
-
I would love to have ability to import also complete sessions (windows and tabs) from Opera.
-
Error message "Failed to create temporary files": I could solve this problem by running Vivaldi as an administrator.
Error message "An instance of Vivaldi is stil running": The installer - for some reason - could not shut all Vivaldi processes down (note: all Vivaldi windows disappear, and it also doesn't show up in the task manager's "Applications" tab, only in the "details" tab). This problem can only be solved by:
1.: Restart the computer (the task manager also cannot shut this process down)
2.: Run an external Vivaldi installer. -
There are two functions that Opera 12 has and I often used.
1.Trash on closed list.
2.Skin. -
"This will be my default browser once it is completely finished."
Oh dear. I spent close to 12 years in opera desktop before we moved away from presto. The browser was still not completely finished by then
-
Small feature request: I have many tabs open (on the right) and several tasks I have to work on at one time: Some of them are more urgent/important than others. I'd like to have the possibility to mark a tab so that I can detect the actual important tab at once. Maybe a tab could be marked when clicking on its favicon once. The favicon could get a distinctive border around it when marked. The mark could get rid of by simply clicking on that favicon again. Easy to use. Nothing big but I think it could be useful for some powerusers. Thank you for reading this. And thank you for Vivaldi!

Its Friday!

wild night?
…so you messed the days -
Not good…
It seems a little... smooth? But that's now.
I opened it and received an update notification. Installed, closed Vivaldi and then... my PC restarted. Ok, nothing damaged except that all information I had in it vanished, Vivaldi now is like new.Win7 64bits Vivaldi 32bits
